If I will walk tomorrow that will be great! Went to buy groceries and was hit on my quad with heavy pallet by member of staff who clearly didn’t bother to take a look around and check if no one is passing by. No sorry no nothing, I went to report it to one of his colleagues and she also seemed to be not interested in listening. My leg hurts , tomorrow it will turn black and blue. If so I will pay a visit to log proper complain.
Male security guard being aggressive to a female, because she arrived at the store 15 minutes before closing (and that female is my partner). As I have seen the other reviews, looks like she's not the only one who had faced problems in the store. People who say, "ignore the bad reviews, I had been treated like royalty by the staff," are either employees, friends, relatives, or are the in-crowd. I went there the following morning to buy something. I bought an energy drink and waited for approval. Lady behind the counter looked at the self-checkout a few times, but simply ignored me and served other customers. I waited for 4½ minutes and the store was quiet. I think that this Tesco store needs a huge reform, or needs to be closed down.
Security officer assumed my partner had eaten something while within the store with no proof. We asked for the manager and he did not get him. Maybe think about getting some new security as he could do with getting his eyes checked. Will not be back because of this.
The security assumed that I have stolen something from the shop. So he approached me as o was leaving the store and said did you do shopping. I understand that there might few dodgy people around the shop but your security should be respectful to customers. He has to be trained how to approach a customer if he assumes stealing have been committed. He also be trained that unless he witnessed a stealing he should not treat people like a thief. He should respectfully explain what he assumed why he assumed and ask kindly a cooperation to make sure prevent any crime happening. He is not polite and doesn't know how to engage with people without making silly accusations. And if you stop someone on a false assumption at least he should know that it's a good courtesy apologize the customer. I understand being security is not easy job. But every job has principles and there is a reason behind those principles. Following those principles will prevent any stupidity. And apologising is not going to hurt you either if you are wrongfully stop someone because you have assumed shoplifting has been committed. Regards
Such a strange tesco, unlike any I’ve ever been to. Unfortunately as of recently my local, famously known as out of stock of everything. Recently seems to have had a gear change and now ridiculously packed with only about 60% of product actually having price labels on shelves. Another serious gripe, is the intimidating friend of staff it seems pretending to be a security guard that is creepy towards women in my opinion. Who is he? Feels worrying that Tesco are not aware of this. Really great location for a small express supermarket to thrive, but as a local customer I’m really disappointed.
Opening hours are not correct here as I went there 7.30 am on Friday morning and still not open. A person behind the locked door said they open at 8 a.m. . I am happy with everything else.
Hardly ever stock on shelves but in crates in the aisle. Feel hesitant asking for help and just feels cold it doesn't flow right the layout plan for products
Fantastic store. Definitely the best in the area. Fantastic to have everything gathered in one shop so you don't have to visit a number of smaller shops. Good range of gluten-free products. Clean and tidy with friendly and service-minded staff. Keep up the good work. 5+ from me :-)
Terrible shop everyday the meal deal is empty before lunch time. same old were waiting for a delivery what everyday. Worst tesco iv ever been to.
