   Came to this store on Sunday 30th march and witnessed a young lady being accused of stealing . One of the MALE members of staff proceeded to take the lady into the back room and search her with no woman present which was completely wrong . In the end the lady was found to have stolen nothing

   Great customer service from the staff especially the Lady security guard! She’s always so friendly and makes my shopping experience an enjoyable one. She’s always greeting every customer in a personable way making them feel seen and goes out of her to help customers. A breath of fresh air!

   True, it's more expensive because it's a Tesco Express, but what you do get is convenience and super-long opening hours. The staff have a rough time with the neighbourhood lowlife regularly shoplifting there, and people in a rush to catch a train, so they can appear terse sometimes. Be patient and understanding, and treat them like you'd want to be treated if you were doing that job! Happy vibes make happy vibes!

   I go few times a week but it’s a small Tesco but they don’t have everything especially cartooned milk the red one and other items the new stuff members aren’t nice at all

   I go In most weekday mornings to see if I can get cheeky meal deal but theres never any vegan sandwiches. I thought there would be a selectionnyoday as other Tesco's have new ones out for veganuary. But no. Also the variety for vegan option is low which is a shame as it's close to my work

   The shop is conveniently located near Hackney Downs station. There is a small parking lot which is mostly busy so parking is not always available. Inside the shop is well lit and reasonably stocked however the bakery isle can be somewhat lacking. Prices are inflated but this is expected as this is an 'Express' convenience store. The staff ranges from cheerful and super helpful to miserable and not bothered in the slightest about customer service. There is also self checkouts with dividers which is helpful plus there is a Costa Vending machine for those quick hot drinks before jumping on the train. Overall it is not a bad place to shop; there are worse.
