    Popped in 5 mins before closing for a water container and camping stove. Ignorantly I didn't get the name of the lovely bloke that helped us (seemed like he was the manager or something) but he was so polite and helpful! Even filled the container with water for me. He deserves a raise!

    I've been coming here for over 40 yrs, in various forms, it's great store and it's been refreshed since I was last there. I went in today and had a great chat about some new trekking boots. Found the ones I wanted but was told a new CEO came in earlier this year and recently scrapped their price match scheme. So, I went 300 yds away to Decathlon and bought the exact same boots, Salomon Quest 4 GTX, for Β£55 less.... the guy completely understood and it was pretty clear a lot of others were doing the same.

    Just been to this store 25 minutes before closing time. My partner had picked the boots and trousers he wanted we was going to head to the till and the staff member said we are closing in 5 minutes which we was already aware of. However I think it’s wrong to rush customers out of the shop won’t be returning back to this store

    I've always been a great fan of Go Outdoors but they recently went up even higher in my rating. I recently purchased a tent bundle online, tent, awning, footprint and carpet. After a weekend of use it was obvious the awning wasn't a match for the tent, big gaps down the side. I returned it all to the Sheffield branch under the return within 28 days for any reason policy and my money was returned to my PayPal account the next day. I had been worried that the process might be stressful and was very relieved when it happened so smoothly and quickly. Six out of five stars for customer service

    Said they had something that I wanted in stock so thought I'd pop by. Wasn't on the rack so asked the assistant. He said he needed to wait to check because there was nobody to watch the door. He was very nice about it but I had to wait ten minutes before he could check. It wasn't in stock. Wasted quite a lot of my time going down there, then waiting and didn't actually have it. Why not keep your information up to date?

    After 3 visits with the same off putting experience I feel I need to write a review. Young female shop assistant with brown hair and glasses who works organising clothes on the entrance, watches your every movements and makes you feel as though you are being watched for theft. Spent thousands in this store but will no longer return due to the off putting experience. Think management need you be aware of how this is coming across to paying customers.

    Don't drop off your parcels off at Go Outdoors! This review isn't for the shop itself, as I like Go Outdoors and their products. I run a small business and have been sending parcels using UPS, however the staff at Sheffield Go Outdoors have been placing them in the wrong cages so none of them were picked up for a week, this is alongside the parcels of everyone else who dropped off using UPS! I went in to complain and this is the only reason why the parcels were finally collected as I raised the issue. I believe they'd still be sitting there for days, if not weeks, if I hadn't been in to chase this up. This has had a direct impact on my small business during the most important time of the year. I think the staff should be trained on how to place the parcels in the correct cages as this has now happened on multiple occasions. I will continue to shop at Go Outdoors but will no longer be using the drop off service, which is a shame.

    Was recommended by a member of staff of the quality of the ROYAL SCOT range of wellington boots. Regrettably I followed his recommendations, they split after 13 months of very little use. Don't be conned as I was.

I need to post somewhere and since Sheffield has the head office, I have no choice, but to post here ****** ONLINE ORDERING IS A MASSIVE HASSLE. YOUR ITEM WONT BE DELIVERED ON TIME AND YOU WILL SPEND LOTS OF TIME CHASING. - deceived, they didn’t have the order in the first place, no connection on live site and warehouse. People order and it’s not even there! - online account does not have order history despite emails saying I should check online for order history / status - zero customer service – forget speaking to customer service agents from abroad, there is NO customer service here! All emails are auto-generated. When you call nobody will pick up, not even β€˜Becky’ the name given to the automated system. If you do somehow manage to get through expect to wait 30 mins on phone minimum. - Β£3.95 for next day delivery? There was absolutely no customer service. Pricing on purpose to entice customers? Cheats Go Outdoors online have got it all wrong, thing twice before ordering online, just go somewhere else, shop around.

    I had a fantastic experience in this store today as me and my family always do. Staff here can never do enough for us and they always strive for excellent customer service. Today I nipped into store to have a look at a large cool box and camping stove, within minutes a member of staff approached me as I probably looked very confused staring at the shelves! Never the less the gentleman offered his help and advice (with no pressure) and I was very grateful. After assisting me with some much needed specific information relating to gas safety and bottle size, his colleague (A young lady) then came along to help regarding the price etc. She was very helpful also and as I explained I had forgotten my Blue light card, but could provide other relevant evidence, she provided me with fantastic customer service and communicated with her colleagues assuring me I would receive any discounts I was entitled to as a card holder. Once I had decided on the products I was satisfied with, the members of staff offered their help to carry the items to the till and ensure the transaction went smoothly. I do wish I had remembered their names to give them a special mention, but my memory never serves me that well so I do apologise!! Never the less, this experience was no surprise and is just a typical trip to Go Outdoors Sheffield!! Wether it be a phone call or a drop in to store, I always have an excellent experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking for great value, information, service and even better products. Thanks to all staff, see you again soon..!
