   I don’t ever really write reviews and have loved Go Outdoors for years as has the family. But I don’t think I’ve ever felt so patronised and almost shamed whilst trying to solve a problem with some boots I bought. It was clear from the start that I was onto a losing battle. It was explained in great detail why nothing could be done but with zero empathy and lack of social skills. I wasn’t after a refund either, but the solution put to me was to buy another pair of boots with discount.. so to spend more money…again that wasn’t the main issue it was the attitude in which I was spoken to. So sadly we won’t be shopping there again.

   Used this store several times recently and never had an issue at all. Ordered some walking boots for my wife via click and collect option and called to collect them. Heidi was working the footwear section and could not have been more helpful. Had plenty of boots over the years but Heidi made sure that they were the proper fit even getting another size to try on and doing a proper fitting. Excellent, friendly service then Eleanor was serving on the till and, despite being busy with customers was polite and friendly with every single one. Top service.

   Shame you can't give them zero stars. Shocking customer service. Tred to return after wearing once the item that wasn't fit for purpose and miss sold . The store manager instantly decided to not accept the problem. She was patronising, rude with one of the worse attitudes I've ever seen in a customer facing roles. Telling customers she is there to educate you is really not acceptable. Used to of company for years but sadly this company has lost my business for good

   Ive only given one star as it would not allow me to give zero. I’ve spent a lot of money at go outdoors over the years and have always had a decent experience until today. I bought a pair of walking boots 10 months ago which have a started falling apart, the stitching has completely come apart in 2 places on one boot and the sole is coming away on the other. I went in today and was told there’s is nothing the can do as it’s normal wear and tear. The boots are just about 10 months old and I have looked after them very well. Due to this I shall not be buying anything else from this store ever again. I feel completely let down by go outdoors. I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone.

   Unfortunately this has to be the worst store for customer service I have visited. I was waiting at the till with approx another 3 customers waiting to pay the girl serving on 1 till was very very slow there was another girl folding some clothes up at another till and despite looking at the Que she just continued to fold clothes. Next time you see a Que at the check out use your common sense and open another till it’s called GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE young lady !!!!!!!!!! AVOID THIS ONE

   Terrible customer service, a lot of young inexperienced staff that don't have a clue how to speak to customers correctly (I ain't your mate!) items priced up incorrectly and be careful when buying items on offer as the till does not always give you the offer so if you don't pick up on their mistake you will be over charged! Happened to me now 3 times on the same item and this is after making manager aware of issue.

   Won’t shop here ever again . Would of put zero stars if had let me . Went in to buy a new rucksack found one I liked in the sale . Went to the till to pay where the lady who severed me was great , they said they just needed to do a price check as it was coming up at a different amount two members of staff went up and confirmed it was in the sale . Which is when I can only assume the other lady listening was a supervisor or manager who spoke up it was too cheap. She then went up stairs and removed the sale sign of the item and told me it wasn’t this one what was for sale . This is after two other members of staff had already confirmed that it was . Really don’t see what she has gained from this as I spend a lot of money here (no more).

   Good shop for all your outdoors activities. A good selection of clothing and footwear that actually had my size boots. Staff are friendly and polite, free parking just outside, well laid out.

   Seems most unfair that an item priced at £22 on the rack costs you £35 if you don't wish to open an account, which also costs you £5. Item also cheaper to buy online than in store. Won't be shopping with Go Outdoors in future.
