I reserved this place as it was conveniently in between both areas I was going to be traveling back and forth to for 7 days. Upon arrival we were charged a parking fee 5 pounds per day! The whole hotel was incredibly dirty but as we had been flying all night we just wanted to check in and sleep. In the morning when we awoke we saw just how dirty the place really was. The carpet was covered in stains, the restroom was filthy and rusted out. To top all of that off the towels had clearly not been washed as there was hair on them. I checked out and requested a refund they said no problem and that they couldn’t do it on the spot because the manager was not in, but that I would get an email. I called back to inquire about the email and I was informed they would not be giving me a refund because I had booked with Priceline and those are their terms. Stay away from this hotel pictures are nothing like what the place actually looks like.

Receptionist Brooke was very helpful and is a credit to the company. Nice quiet hotel bit awkward to navigate entrance to the car park. Rooms are nice with comfy beds. Buffet breakfast ok nothing special.

We have stayed here three times and not been disappointed at all. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is good, you have easy access to the motorway network and other major roads and there is plenty of parking. We sampled the food for the first time on our last visit and were impressed, especially if you take the offer of a set price for a breakfast and an evening meal. The whole package represents really good value.

First time staying in a Ramada Hotel and I have to say I’m impressed. Just off the services on the m6, but you wouldn’t be able to tell. Hotel is clean and tidy. Allows animals, which is always handy to know. Hotel doesn’t have air conditioning but each room does have a fan and windows that open. There is a basic gym that is free for guests to use once a form has been filled in. That consists of running machine, stationary bike, cross trainer, mat and basic weights. Has a wall of mirrors, a tv, air conditioning and towels. Breakfast is served weekdays 6-10am and 6-10:30 at weekends. They have a wide selection of food available to suit everyone’s needs. Evening food is also great. ALL the staff are great, friendly and go above and beyond to give great customer service. On arrival we were greeted by Benjamin, who throughout our stay has provided outstanding service and helped with any queries while also being able to engage in conversation and have a laugh while doing so. All of which has helped to provide a great week stay away.

I have a soft spot for this hotel. Three years ago, despite expectations of getting to Scotland from Bristol, we’d been stuck on the M5 for hours and had to give up and opt for this stopover. I was in a foul mood, and expected nothing from this stay. As it turned out, the service on the reception desk and in the restaurant was lovely; someone in the kitchen certainly knew how to cook a steak because it was gorgeous; and I slept very happily. And I remember the price was extremely reasonable, despite our just rocking up and taking anything that was available. If I ever have to stop off again on the way up to Scotland, this will be my first choice.

Great overnight stop on a long journey. Clean and comfy rooms with ample tea and coffee supplies. Breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choice, all fresh and unlimited tea, coffee and juice. A very cheap place to stay but have had a lot worse and paid a lot more. Would wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone. Brilliant, thank you so much.

Stayed twice in the last 2 weeks. Both times the rooms were spotless and had the usual tea, coffee. Went to reception for more milk and perfect service. Both Breakfast and Evening meals were delicious. Jenny on breakfast was lovely. The slightly more mature lady servings the Evening meal on our 2nd visit was stressed and struggling to cope. To be fair it was fairly busy and she didn't manage to spread the orders to the kitchen. The lady who served us on our first evening meal had that skill 100% and I bet the kitchen loves her! I'm being picky as I have worked in this area. Will definitely be back

I stay here a fair bit for work - it's really convenient from M6 northbound (and easy enough from M6 south, you just have to get buzzed through the back gate). It is always spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly, the beds are comfy, parking is easy, it's quiet (despite its location in the services) and it's usually great value - especially if you book direct. It's not the place for a romantic getaway, that's for sure - but for a reliable and affordable overnight stop to break a long drive, it's ideal.
