Well I can honestly say that we had the best Christmas ever thanks to all of the staff who gave up their Christmas day to make ours amazing. Christmas in the inspiration suite was outstanding. We brought friends from down south and they said it was the best Christmas they have had in years! Superb value superb singer and most of all the superb staff. Well done to you all. Thanks again from Annette and Gary Campbell.

Not a great experience. Without going into too many details, I had to check out at 11pm and drive back to Coventry due to staying with my 11 year old grandson in a twin room and being in an adjoining room next to a couple who were very loudly having a good time...... I did ask to be moved as it was embarrassing with an 11 yr old but there were only double rooms available and that wasn't acceptable.

Typical Village Hotel Club situated in Whiston and with easy access to the M62 and M57. The hotel has a large car park with electric car chargers available. The hotel has a club attached with gym and swimming pool as well as a lively bar serving food with big screens for sporting events. Function rooms are also available. The rooms are reasonably large and tastefully decorated and comfortable. Large screen TV with Sky Sports included in the room. All making for a very pleasant stay

Me and my husband had a great 2 night stay in the hotel. The bed was very comfy, probably one of the best hotel beds I've slept in. We loved the relaxed vibe of the bar area and had a few games of the darts which was great. The breakfast buffet was lovely and so were the evening emails. The pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were all pretty big so it never seemed to feel over crowded when were were there. The staff were all brilliant and made the stay extra enjoyable as nothing was ever too much trouble.

Nice hotel, room was very clean and quiet. It was a really good size as well (for a double). Staff friendly and helpful, and parking free at weekends and there was plenty of it. Booked as part of an offer which gave free Internet and use of the gym and pool. As is often the case in these places, Village hotels being no exception, the food menu at the bar is overpriced in my opinion. A short drive to a local pub was a better option.

Great staff, service and easy location to get to. Good for business meetings. Bedrooms pleasant enough with the facilities you most need. A bit of modernisation here and there would be nice. Would like to have seen a safe in the room. Will definitely go back for future business meetings in the area.

Went for Christmas dinner, the whole day was excellent. They had a singer on who was really good! Father Christmas came with a present for children. The menu and food was excellent. Everything about the day was perfect. Staff were really nice!!

We love it here. Me and my grandson used to go on our regular Thursdays, nanny, and grandson days for swimming. Lovely staff, my daughter bought his yearly pass. Badminton beautiful restaurant brilliant for weddings. All in all, perfect.

Great location quiet outskirts. Seems to cater for Business use very sophisticated Reception, very helpful staff. Rooms very clean, dated decor & needs TLC shower leaked onto floor flooding the bathroom making it slippery. No soft closures on doors so they slam to shut making a very loud noise. If you're a Light sleeper like me avoid 209. We asked for a Quiet room away from lifts & entrance. However our room was right next to the lift & above entrance so had hardly any sleep from the lift going up & down until late then the doors slamming very early morning onwards. So glad we only booked 1 night. Then discovered at breakfast that it wasn't included so very expensive for Room only oversight on our part booking last minute. Leisure facilities were good however sauna wasn't very hot & half the pool was closed for lessons. You are expected to pay to use the leisure facilities which I think is a cheek when this isn't mentioned on the website it's advertised as part of the stay. Every other hotel it's included so can't say I was overly impressed. Having food allergies there didn't appear to be much I could eat so didn't bother paying for breakfast
