   Should have assessed central heating before we arrived as pipes rumbling on a radiator first night (trapped air in system) of course and plumber fixed in 5mins!. Massive serving of meats logs (including delicious casseroles and soups)(and dairy products).Salads.Free Britannia WIFI signal very strong and reliable(my cube updated quickly) so we great time using my Amazon Fire TV CUbe maybe some Ghost Club Paranormal mileage?

   The rooms are spacious, clean and comfy with tea and coffee facilities. The food is good quality for the price. 2 for 1 drinks and good entertainment on the tribute weekend. Night club down stairs with d.j. We come in a group and always have a great weekend. Thanks to Sam the manager who works very hard. We will stay again in future. Good location, free parking is a bonus.

   Stayed four nights with coach tour . Stayed in room 218 . Reasonably clean . Furniture damaged tho . Bathroom reasonably new but bath enamel had chips and no privacy just a net curtain . Shower took 15 minutes to get warm. Location good for both town centre and promenade however it was right next to a nightclub I was kept awake with loud music on the last night I went to reception as no way to actually phone reception to say I couldn't sleep due to noise I was given a different room which was great . Food was good however I was sick the last night put it down to spicy tomato soup but judging by the stomach cramps I think I might actually have food poisoning. Staff ok but no chat or smiles worked hard clearing up when finished and kept refreshing items at meal times. No guest books in room for information. However the entertainment from Wendy and Spencer was very good .

   Great place to stay for two nights. After we requested the tope floor before arrival they gave us a room on the top floor. Luckily, there was a fan as it was very boiling. It was very quiet (probably because it was the start of the week.) Very nice staff and nice breakfast. Very good location, very central with easy access to transport and things to do.

   We are here for a weekend of tributes and the rooms are well presented and clean and lift to all floors. Food was good and good choice, no complaints from me. There are alot of bad comments and the only one we would do is the noise from clubs and bars on the street to the left side of the hotel. If you are booking ask for quite room and they will accommodate. Would come back but with a room change away from the night life noise till 4.30am

   Given a room that was not suitable or what was booked. They did move us to a room slightly better but no heating as valves were broken, gave us two mini electric heaters. Four poster bed no mattress protector or pillow protectors and mattress springs very sore/sharp. £35.00 pp for New Years Eve gala dinner not to expectations. Restaurant food warm both breakfast and dinner. Hotel needs attention.

   Location excellent . Friendly atmosphere .fantastic value. Helpful smiling staff... Yes can be noisy at night with other activities but it's a pleasant old hotel full of tradition really enjoyed our stay..

   Excellent location. Right by the shops and centre. Easily accessible to the station aswell as buses. The room was good and complete with necessary equipment. Clean aswell as sterilised. The room was also huge and spacious which was both good and bad as they had one big bare wall. The overall experience at the hotel for our two nights as a couple was very good for the value. 4.5/5

   Not as bad as I was expecting! Room large and clean! Breakfast fine, evening meal not so good needs improvement but for the price we paid we had a great time!
