I arrived at the Newly named Hotel Amaze Saturday 13th Dec for 1 night. (A Christmas family doo) . Why do these BIG company's hide important details behind complicated pages of writing and not tell us upfront when you ring them that your being charged £15 for the one night to park your car In there carpark?? I always ask is there anything g else I need to know. I wasn't told! I have been here many times until this amaze took over Bliss hotels. I would have booked elsewhere if they told me on the phone when I booked it about the charges to park. I was told by the reception I should have looked on there website. WHY? Surley the receptionist should have said!? So I did when I got to my room. It isn't clearly stated on there neither. I am age 73 and on Pension credit guaranteed and have a disablility badge. It makes no difference what you have or have not. Makes no difference at all!! Think twice.

room was clean not as big as we thought lot's of storage lovely big bathroom excellent shower although a bath shower my wife who has mobility issues felt safe because of the well positioned handrails, only annoying thing the reception on 1st floor access by lift abit confusing at first. breakfast was very good lot's of choice I'd stay away from the fried eggs they have an unusual way of keeping them warm ,not good. good. the staff were very pleasant and efficient but to be honest didn't have much interaction. the bar prices r scandalous I thought I was in Central London.

Great hotel in an excellent location. Room was excellent and one of the comfiest hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. The breakfast was excellent and well cooked. Considering it to now coming in to the quieter winter season, we couldn’t fault the service. Will definitely be staying there again.

Great Location to shops & walking around the lakeside. We stayed in superior rooms on the higher floors, overlooking the lake & great views towards ribble estuary. Food menu aka dinner was generally of a high standard. Breakfast buffet was generous overall.... but regular drinks - no standard coffee machine; cappuccino, latte etc: Friendly Staff. Recommended

The perfect room, for the perfect weekend. Spectacular view, perfect location. Metres from the fabulous promenade, with miles of flat ,wide, walkway. The sun terrace is a perfect place for a drink before evening meal,or,just sit, read, enjoy the sun. Very helpful staff throughout the hotel, underground parking, lifts to all floors. Fabulous decor in the lounge area. First rate. Highly recommended.

Nice room and friendly receptionist but car parking expensive. As for service in the restaurant that’s another matter , extremely slow service , main course ok but over priced. As for dessert cheesecake eventually arrived frozen solid !! When sent back was met with indifference from the serving staff. Expected far far better and left feeling very disappointed, won’t be returning.
