   Lovely reception on a cold wet Friday in Southport, lift, stairs and public areas all clean, modern and well laid out. We were in the very top rooms, very clean, nice bed and reading earlier reviews the management have taken things onboard. We stayed one night, room a little warm, maybe turn the whole heating down 2-3. Other than that, shower, tv, drinks were amazing for the money.

   First of all I was in the reception and there was a couple attemping to pay a deposit they waiver it for him .but then I found out they took a £100 charge to my card for a deposit for the room so thay had done this with out asking or clearly saying to me that thay took the money very bad ... The toilet seat had wee stain underneath the rim so then I thought what else they not checked or cleaned... No Door on any of the bathrooms in the holtel so bathrooms smells can't be stop from smelling the room out it was very hot in the lobby and the room can't have the windows open scared if break them or loseing deposit. Shabby welcome sheet of Plane white paper in such a well designed place... no smell of freshness in the room I not be staying there again ruined the weekend put a real downer on things I never been in such a place don't expect to be amazed defiantly 1 star place ....

   The hotel itself is very clean, lovely friendly staff. The bed is very comfy, although poor quality pillows. And no bathroom door!!!! Certainly not for me!!! No air con and despite a fan being provided the room was very hot, couldn't leave the windows open due to street noise, so didn't get much sleep unfortunately

   A chic, minimal room in a stylish hotel. Lovely and quiet which was perfect for our Anniversary night away. Would have been lovely if the Bistro was open as it was raining (typical British weather) so would have dined there rather than walking to a restaurant nearby.

   Shocking! Terrible nights stay! Avoid! Book to expect disappointment! The room was not cleaned when we arrived (Even though we are in the middle of a covid pandemic). The rooms themselves are not up to scratch. ( no doors on the bathrooms) and the rooms have no window coverings so got woken up by the sun rising. Also the bathrooms overlook a communal smoking terrace so you can be seen whilst in the shower!! In addition the rooms are lit at night by green LED lights to keep you awake. Safely say the worst nights stay in a hotel ever... avoid like the plague!!!

   What an excellent hotel! We loved it! We came here for a quiet weekend to celebrate my partners birthday. The room was a little smaller than what we was expecting but it's was still roomy and it did have a huuuge TV. We loved the look of all the high gloss furniture and the decor. We didn't have chance to book the cinema room but we still had a nosey at it. My only negative about Hotel 21 is that a lot of the photos while booking are reused throughout the different rooms so you don't fully know what to expect. But other than that we would definitely recommend Hotel 21 and we will be looking to book again sometime.
