Went for new year's eve dinner event and sadly the food taste has deteriorated since last year. The mature cheddar sausage amuse bouche was not at all tasty with a very bland tomato pasta sauce, not at all a vinegarette as stated on the menu. The signature fillet of beef was also not tasty, sadly it had very little flavour as if it was just put on a plain griddle pan with no butter or oil or any spices, just bland, same with the bearnaise sauce, very little flavour, the only saving grace was that the steak was cooked the way I requested it. The French onion soup was tasty as well as the dark chocolate fondant. The menu stated we would have a cheese board as a 5th course yet we never received it, we did however encounter a sorbet of sorts between the starter and main I suppose as a palate cleanser, however it was never mentioned or stipulated what exactly it was flavour wise, ingredients or any explanation, and it was not on the menu, we also asked for a cappuccino which never arrived but we were charged for. Service was sadly lacking, we had about 5 different servers, only 1 of them was genuinely friendly, we weren't asked if we wanted any more drinks either. Very disappointing this year. Will rethink going again next year, especially for the extortionate prices.

Absolutely lovely vegan afternoon tea at Marco Pierre White in Birmingham. You never can trust that the vegan option is good and of course I’d expect nothing less than perfection from MPW, but this truly was delicious. The chocolate fudge cake was particularly delicious and was everything you would want from a chocolate cake. The sandwiches featured beetroot, cucumber and hummus, all served on brown bread and tasted great. I had sparkling water and an oat milk latte, and it was all very well presented with exceptional service. Aarieti (Apologies if that’s spelt incorrectly) was super friendly and polite, and I really enjoyed the experience. I didn’t have a window seat but it didn’t matter as the panoramic views were fantastic.

The atmosphere was excellent and the staff made us feel really welcome. Our server in particular was genuinely friendly throughout. We were given a window seat at no extra cost, which added a lot to the experience, the view was brilliant. I ordered the mixed grill for one. The flavours were good, but the steak was overcooked rather than medium-rare as recommended. Because it was served in a skillet, there wasn’t much room to cut anything properly, and the oil gathering at the bottom made it feel a bit greasy. My partner had the fillet steak with king prawns. The quality was good, but the dish felt quite pricey considering it arrived as just the steak on a plate. Even a simple side salad would have gone a long way. We had to order this separately. Desserts were lovely, cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding, which are hard to fault. We also stayed for breakfast and that was very good with a good selection. Overall, we had an excellent visit. I’d recommend it and would return.

The welcome was lovely and we were promptly taken to our table. My wife and I were conscious of the 2 hour table time limit so we're concerned that we had been seated for 10 minutes before we were able to order drinks. My wife and I both ordered the pate which was very tasty however I bit into something hard during the meal which I brought to the attention of the waitress who showed the manager. I wasn't going to make a fuss but I was disappointed that the duty manager didn't have the courtesy to acknowledge or speak to me regarding the issue. Both mains were well presented and tasted wonderful. Portion size was just right and both decided to have desert. My wife had cheese cake and I had the brownie both were great. Our waitress also presented my wife with a complimentary brownie as this meal was to celebrate her Birthday. When presented with the bill I asked for the discretionary service charge to be removed. The finalised bill was brought to the table by the manager who still couldn't manage to speak to me. The waiting staff are welcoming and very attentive however the manager needs to go on a hospitality course.

I had a fantastic meal recently and the service was exceptional. The crispy calamari with tartar sauce was delicious, and the fillet steak was cooked to perfection. Although I wasn’t offered a second drink during the meal, the atmosphere was still enjoyable. Just a heads up, it would be great if the voucher details were clearer when booking! Overall, a lovely dining experience and I’d definitely recommend it.

We had a BuyAGift voucher to use so I guess the menu we were given wasn’t the proper one. However, we had an 8oz Sirloin and a tomato and basil soup start with sourdough bread & salted butter. The starter was lovely, very hot and the butter for the bread was very nice. The sirloin was nice, cooked medium, chips were too chunky and dense for me. Personally, I would say the steak at Miller and Carter is better with the onion loaf. Staff were very friendly. Views were great. Nice atmosphere but if I were to go out for a steak again I’d go elsewhere.

We visited Marco Pierre restaurants 3 times and were not impressed with the quality of food and there's menu is quite limited. This one located in the Cube has a great view and at sunset hour looks absolutely stunning. But that's it. My battered salmon was quite greasy and my husbands sirloin steak was the worst he has ever had with a lot of gristle and fat, would have expected better quality. Presentation and service good but be aware service charge included added on the bill.

The starter I chose (French onion soup) was the best soup I've ever had in my life, delicious! The main (beef burger and fries) and dessert (cheesecake) were good, not amazing but definitely tasty. The drink prices were fair for being in a city, I was expecting them to be more pricey. The atmosphere/decor/view was stunning. It does cost extra to sit near the window so that's good to keep in mind. The staff were friendly and kept on top of things really well. My partner had ordered a side of mac and cheese that never appeared though so some slight communication errors but nothing major, I think they just didn't hear him. Overall really enjoyed our experience here and I'd definitely return for more soup and to try other dishes!

A wonderfully designed place that makes you feel special. All staff members are smiling and interested. There are places to sit inside and outside the place and it has a great view from everywhere. The service is very fast, the food is both delicious and very fresh. A quality establishment that you can choose for a private business meeting, family celebration or afternoon tea. There are many parking spaces where you can park on the street for those who travel by car. Parking costs £1.5 per hour and is free on weekends.

Came here for a drink and to take in the view, following a recommendation from a friend. We got straight in with no waiting, it was very quiet in the bar, but the restaurant was getting quite busy, with people coming in for afternoon tea. Picked a cocktail, they were priced between £13-£14.50 each, which didn't think was too bad, for this type of restaurant, so was pleasantly surprised, when the lady behind the bar said that the cocktails were £14.50 each or 2 of the same cocktails for £14. So instead of 2 cocktails for £29, we got 4 cocktails for £28. The views from the 25th floor over Birmingham are lovely and looked even better in the sunshine. Well worth a visit, even, if just for a drink.
