The Lancaster hotel is located on the campus of Brunel university. The hotel is safe, clean and cozy. The rooms are very small and compact. They are furnished with a basic bed (a bit on the hard side), small flatscreen television, small desk, coffee maker, lamp, and basic toiletries. Nothing fancy, but itβs good enough for a day or two. Breakfast was not included, but the parking was free with registration. Overall, I would say itβs about a three out of five. Not luxury by any means but more on the economical side.

Good location for what we wanted but the rooms were incredibly tiny and for some unknown reason only catered for 1 person. Despite it being a double bed and booked for 2 people you o ky get 1 towel 1 cup etc. Very Strange. Also lots of things broken. Plus socket with huge cracks making it unusable. Window handle broken so can't shut completely which led to a freezing room due to the draught. However lovely receptionist. Unfortunately wouldn't stay again but did the job!

I just wanted to take a moment to mention how amazing Lucy and Dean are at the Lancaster Hotel. They are both incredibly professional, approachable and genuinely care about people. You can tell they take great pride in what they do, always understanding, supportive and willing to go the extra mile. It is rare to come across managers who are so dedicated and kind-hearted. A big thank you to Lucy and Dean for their exceptional attitude and the way they carry themselves. They are a real credit to the hotel.

I often visit Brunel University London for my studies, and this is my first time staying at the Lancaster Hotel β definitely not the last! Its location right on campus makes it perfect for students and university visitors. The staff are very welcoming, and the atmosphere feels just like home. The only minor drawback is that the room is a bit small and doesnβt have a fridge, but itβs perfectly fine for a short stay.

Would have liked to have given a higher rating based on staff & location (both great) but the hotel has two significant drawbacks. First of all, it's incredibly hot - it's like they've cranked up the heating to max because it's sub-zero outside (it was 23 Β°C). I was visiting a nearby care home for the elderly & it was nowhere near as hot (their residents would have died of heat exhaustion if it were). The second issue is a ridiculous architectural problem. My room was dim when I went in & I thought I'd raise the blind. Turns out it wasnβt a blind blocking off the light but a brick wall. Each room has this peculiar L-shaped window configuration with a slit window along the bottom & small window atop. Result: little natural light & permanently dim room. There's only one light in the room (no side or bed lights), with a very dim bulb, which doesn't help much. So like staying in a hot cave. Pity!

I almost don't want to post this review, I want to keep it a secret as possible so it doesn't become fully booked :) For a hotel with a gym, sauna and steam room it is absolutely fantastic value. A 20 minute walk or 6 minute drive to the town centre with plenty of restaurants and bars, some of which I have also reviewed here. I spent 2 lovely weekends here, enjoying the spa facilities and will certainly be returning again.

This is a student accommodation block with the word "Hotel" written outside. Its OK if you are on a budget. The weird "form before function" windows are horrible. Might look interesting from outside but quite depressing when you open the curtain and find mostly wall! No headboard on the bed. The wall is covered in greasy marks from previous guests. In one way they cater for budget customers but there's only the buffet breakfast at Β£13.

It was difficult to find due to road closures. The room was comfortable and clean, but we could not turn the heating down or open a window so it was like a sauna. Food was ok.

Ok for the price, clean, tidy, semi-comfortable but small rooms & you are basically staying on a university campus. Reception staff were polite but seem to struggle to grasp anything a bit challenging which ended up with us not having access to our room at 1am, so had. To wait for security to let us in when we were cold & tired.

Not a bad place to stay. The signs to the place could be better but the receptionist was helpful when we called to ask where to go. Beds were comfortable but small. The spa was OK, the only thing that was annoying was a student on his phone in the spa. Breakfast was OK. What was not OK was a staff member asking for the bill to be paid before my husband had finished his breakfast. Won't be staying here again.
