We had the best stay here. All the staff were amazing and seem to love their jobs. The attention to detail was excellent. It really was perfect. It felt very festive with the ice rink and beautiful Christmas decorations. It's dog friendly, too.
Wonderful Had lunch at the Garden House, food was delicious the cocktails were top notch. The staff were the best of the best so friendly, it was my Mum’s 80th birthday and they went out of their way to make it special. We were also given a guided tour round the house by a charming knowledgeable girl.
Overall great experience with wonderful food, beautiful rooms, exceptional facilities and thoughtful attention to details. The spa is particularly relaxing and beautiful. Small gripe with staff- a few members slightly unwelcoming upon arrival and some unprofessional behaviour for a 5* hotel in the main bar and in the garden house restaurant- I wouldn't expect to hear one bartender loudly berating another or to see wait staff kicking the kitchen door in the restaurant. Housekeeping staff however amazing and couldn't provide a better service. Some small improvements and training needed to really take service up to the level of other top hotels in the UK.
We booked balloon dining experience for my birthday. The location is absolutely stunning and was made even the more better by a warm summer day. You can drive around the estate or take a walk. Food was expensive. Meat cuts and seafood were very fresh. But, I was not impressed by quantity. It was a 4 course lunch but felt more like a tasting menu due to small portion sizes. And 314£ for that is a bit much, hence 4 stars. The service was top notch however, attention to detail was exceptional, and we were treated like royalty. If its once a year thing on birthdays/anniversary then do spoil yourself rotten. I would probably not go back because of how expensive it is, but it is definitely a good one-off treat to yourself.
Absolutely delightful! We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Garden House, where we were treated to an impressive selection of drinks, including a variety of refreshing non-alcoholic cocktails. The staff was exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, enhancing our dining experience. The food was delectable, and the dessert was wonderfully indulgent! We took a stroll through some of the gardens, though we found that many areas are reserved for members or guests only. Overall, it was a memorable experience!
Lovely setting and very good food but very disappointing on hotel’s policy on accepting certain staff that was very visible ill. I never been so uncomfortable to be serve in a restaurant. As the staff was very good, unfortunately one person was caught heavily and sweating. Unfortunately in this current context of flus, viruses and Covid made our experience somewhat distressing. Bowman
I had the most incredible experience from start to finish at this hotel. From the warm and personal welcome to the beautiful decor of this amazing hotel and every person that works in it - wow! Our experience was made even more special by the fact my partner proposed (couldn't think of a better place!) and all the staff from reception to the bar staff and waitresses in the restaurant really went above and beyond for us to make it even more memorable. Complimentary room upgrade, champagne - the works! Felt completely spoiled from the second we arrived and honestly I just want to say a HUGE thank you to every person that helped make our time at Beaverbrook an experience we will never forget.
Beautiful hotel, took fiancé there for our anniversary and she was over the moon. We ate at the Japanese grill, had the tasting menu which was amazing. Service was also 5 star, will be visiting again.
Beautiful house with a warmth as well as grandeur. The Japanese dining room was elegant and relaxed. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful and the food was very good to excellent (Black Cod was my favourite, cooked to perfection!). We will be visiting again. Expect £100+ per person for dinner. This beautiful elegant house and the great staff/service are worth it.
Really posh restaurant with excellent service and really good food. As expected food and drinks were expensive, but I think it was worth it. We had some really nice starters and Steak for mains. It was cooked perfectly with a really nice sauce. I would definitely love to go back there, but need to save up for it first lol !
