This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are extremely small and there is little to no space to open your suitcase. The heating makes a loud noise every time it is switched on. Only 30 minutes of free WiFi is available and you have to buy expensive packages for more. The bathrooms are disappointing as there is no shower door and just a shower curtain which causes water to drip all over the bathroom door. In my shower the soap dispenser doesn’t work and the soap and shampoo are in one dispenser. The toilet leaks every time I flush and when I complained the man at reception said he couldn’t do anything about it and offered me a new room in which the toilet couldn’t even flush. The rooms are small, dusty and cramped. The man at reception is never at the desk and if you have a complaint it is extremely hard to get through to him as he is always away. Arguably the worst hotel I’ve ever been too and I would not recommend booking here at all.

Two night stay, great location, 2 min walking distance to a lot of great eateries on Richmond High Street, and to the tube station. Only downside is parking, there’s a very expensive multi storey next door, and a slightly better NCP multi storey behind the tube station. Rooms clean and staff polite, would happily come again

For the price and location this place was great. In downtown Richmond, close to the train station. The room was small, but very clean. The bed was comfortable and a good size for two people. The air conditioning was not too loud. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place to stay super central! Comfortable rooms & friendly staff. If you need anything, they are very happy to help. Don‘t understand the bad reviews, as when you book travelodge, you know it‘s not going to be The Ritz :) I can highly recommend it, especially for the location. Rooms are not huge but its perfectly doable, we even stayed with a small baby and all the baby gear (bed, sterilizer etc etc) for 4 days and it was perfectly fine.

I would never recommend this place. Booked the travelodge for my gran and mother and their key cards kept failing, having to constantly go downstairs to ask for another key card. No staff anywhere. There was one staff member HOWEVER they were sleeping and weren't even at front desk, so we had to call the 0800 for their help. The breakfast is AWFUL and comes in a cardboard box?! I would definitely recommend the premier Inn in Richmond instead.

This hotel is in a very location, about 5 minutes walk from Richmond Station. The rooms are very standard Travelodge rooms in terms of decor. The rooms are on the small side, however that's expected given the proximity to London. Our room was facing the road and it was a bit loud at some points as lots of buses pass by it (as there's some one way streets in Richmond).
