   Its half a mile from Richmond which is ok The dinner we had here was really lovely. Food was excellent and service was very friendly. However the breakfast was very overpriced and the maitre d' was quite rude to some customers. Stayed 2 night in a deluxe room for about £700 (not including breakfast). The hotel itself is a very attractive building with quite an up market feel

   Beautiful hotel, lovely grounds and nice rooms. The room however didn't feel worth the premium price tag. Worth a visit for the building. Unfortunately a bit let down by unfriendly blunt reception staff. It is also a bit of a joke they attempt to charge an 'optional service charge' on checkout as it's £200 per night minimum as it is and in my opinion there was no service above a normal hotel to warrant any service charge.

   We stayed at the Petersham Hotel over our wedding weekend, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. The front desk team was friendly and accommodating, and they helped make the whole process seamless during such an important time in our lives. Our room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and extremely comfortable—exactly what we needed to relax but also host my bridesmaids on the day of the wedding. We’re so grateful to the Petersham for playing such a big part in our wedding memories. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and celebrate!

   Stayed at the Petersham with my daughter and two grandchildren aged 13 and 21 months. We had interconnecting rooms which were perfect. The staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is lovely with beautiful views and a short walk into Richmond. As we had a toddler with us we didn't use the dining room but had room service which was excellent. Will definitely be back

   I have photographed many weddings at the Petersham Hotel. The Hotel is positioned in such a beautiful setting and the view of the Thames is stunning. Inside the Terrace suite and the River room provide the perfect setting for an elegant and sophisticated wedding!

   Booked two interconnecting rooms in the August 2021 for my wedding in April 2022. When I turned up the day before my wedding the rooms had been given away to someone else, so I was in alternative rooms and had to rejig things around. The manager was very helpful and put me in other rooms, not the end of the world. It just wasn't very professional for the price.

   Doesn't rate a hotel-style 3 stars. We had coffee, overlooking a part of Richmond Park, view was quite good, service was good. But furniture (chairs) were grubby, glass tables all scratched and grubby. Would not consider staying there now. Clearly, some recent add-on parts to the original building but grubby furniture, in common parts, lets it down.

   This was the first time I visited the Petersham for lunch. What an experience the views are amazing over Richmond Hill 360 degrees with no obstructive views. Food was top quality with an outstanding service. I will definitely go again for afternoon tea.

   Myself and my new wife had our wedding here and I can’t thank the staff enough for the amazing atmosphere they created. The food is fantastic, the views are great, very accommodating and an amazing venue. We will certainly be recommending the Petersham hotel to friends and family and we will definitely be back in the near future either for a weekend away or for a lunch/dinner. Thank you again to the entire team for making our wedding such an amazing experience!
