Stayed 2 nights in family room. Sheets and pillow cases had someone's hair on them, plus what only resembled dried blood smudge on a pillow case. Bathroom door not only didnt lock but wouldn't even shut closed, not good when kids wanted privacy using the loo. Loo needed a good bleach too, very stained. Otherwise in good location close to town and station, plus tesco next door is handy.

A recently refurbished travelodge, had everything we need for a night in Dorking. The Tesco next door was handy for breakfast items. A short walk 10-15 mins to the main or Deepdene station and similar into Dorking centre. Would stay again

Booked to stay for one night. On check in I asked if I could choose my room but was told I didn’t have any other choice, I said even if I’m on my own with kids he said β€œwe have homeless people stay” suggesting they got first dibs on rooms. That’s ok until 2 am there is a man hammering on the doors next to my room shouting for his mate to open up! This went on for some time banging and shouting. Then once his mate finally opened the door to let him in I then hear shouting and swearing through the wall. I was on my own with two young kids and I was terrified. I understand they give rooms to the homeless that’s brilliant I’m pleased they have a safe place to sleep but maybe don’t place a women and her small children next door because I’d paid Β£115 for a room and I really did not feel safe. Also it does not have an iron in the room you have to ask reception for it and then they tell you someone else is already using it and there is a que. the beds were clean but the bathroom was not. I know it’s a basic hotel but Β£115 to not feel safe and not be clean. Wouldn’t recommend

I stayed here the night before a flight from Gatwick as it was half the price of a room with the same chain at the airport. The room was adequate for the price but the curtains let a considerable amount of light in from the street lights and the nearby road was quite loud. Free parking available but you'll have to get here early as the small car park was full of vans, some of which were parked in disabled spaces.

Great location walking distance into town however would not stay again. On arrival there were bits of food in bathroom sink which happened to be blocked. The room smelt extremely damp. There were thick cob webs under bed along with a sock and earpod so clear evidence that this hasn't been cleaned it quite some time. Couldn't wait to leave was quite an unpleasant stay.

Good location for dorking Halls and free parking, but rooms look tired, the grounds have cigarette butt's everywhere and to top it all there are a selection of very large used laughing gas canisters everywhere... would not take much to spend some time smartening up the outside area, but staff are friendly and accommodating

Good room apart from the the window handle not usable to open the window and the room being dusty and with several cobwebs, hair on the side table too. A good vacuuming of the room would benefit cleanliness too

As long as you don't go in expecting Ritz level service and cleanliness you won't be disappointed. Have stayed in better budget hotels, but this particular Travelodge provided exactly what I needed (peace and quiet and a warm bed) at an incredibly reasonable price. And for that I'll forgive its shortcomings.

Drove 5 hours from Cornwall and when I arrived at 11 pm was told that even though I had booked and paid for a room there was no room available. Nobody contacted me to let me know. Reception was full of people in the same situation.

Very well located close to Dorking Town centre and train stations. No restaurant so just the basic room which was clean but not perfect. Although we didnt have need for it, the second bed in the family room was very badly made up with sheets hanging down that should have been tucked in. There were no toilet rolls in the room when we arrived. No problems getting a hairdryer from reception when needed. The room price was reasonable for what it was.
