We stayed in this hotel yesterday and had a bad experience. We arrived at the hotel around 1am, all very tired wanted to sleep immediately. after checking in we went to the room which was given in 6th floor, removed our shoes changed the clothes and felt our socks are soaking wet. My husband said it first, I thought he accidentally got the shoes wet. Then I stepped in and the floor with my socks and it became wet too. Then we found the whole carpet was wet infront of the cupboard. No phones in the room to call the reception. We changed the clothes already, at that time my husband needed to change again to go all the way down to reception on the ground floor to let them know. The guy in the reception couldn’t do much rather than saying sorry and offered a towel to put on the floor. I would blame on room services for not checking in properly. When we checked out next day, we asked for manager to complain, we have been told the manager is not available and our complaint was written, the manager will call back after 3pm. I never received a response yet , now it’s 11.30 pm

I would not recommend you stay in this hotel. The hotel seemed like it hadn't been properly cleaned in at least a decade and the corridors smelt funny. A previous occupant of the room I stayed in had smoked in it which, while not directly the hotel's fault, they had done nothing to get rid of the cigarette smell other than open the window (which did not work). My room also had stained carpets and walls and the paint on the walls had come off in places. The TV and tables had been cleaned by a teenager or someone with the enthusiasm of a teenager; it was dusty and not properly cleaned. The only saving grace was the bed was clean and the bathroom was clean enough. The staff were friendly enough but they all seemed bored and like they didn't want to be there (I don't blame them, to be honest). The location of the hotel is fine, it's not the best area but I didn't expect it to be at such a low cost. There are a few facilities in the area however I feel the signage for the hotel's reception is rather lacking. It was not obvious where I had to go and when I did find it, the entrance was at the back of a shop where there are seedy people smoking and looking suspicious. There are also big bins where rubbish and your hopes and dreams are thrown out. Finally, I stayed in this hotel as a cheap alternative to staying in the centre of London (because hotel prices in the city are ridiculous). That being said, next time I visit (and I encourage you do the same) pay a little bit more to stay closer to the centre and in a slightly nicer location. It was a right pain in the arse having to take a 30-minute train journey out of the city after a day of sightseeing only to be greeted with a smelly and stained room. Even if you are staying in the local area, I would still recommend you find alternative accommodation as this place is not worth your money.

I really enjoyed my stay at Travelodge Tolworth! The room was clean, cozy, and well maintained, and the staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my visit. What pleasantly surprised me was the food — everything was fresh, tasty, and served quickly. The breakfast was especially good, with plenty of options to choose from and great coffee to start the day. The location is convenient, and the whole atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back — highly recommended

Really impressed with this hotel! My room was clean, tidy, and had everything I needed for a short stay. The housekeeping team clearly do a great job. The hotel is in a convenient location, especially if you’re visiting nearby areas like Kingston or Surbiton. The staff were cheerful and helpful throughout my stay. A great budget-friendly option that exceeded my expectations.

I recently stayed at the Travelodge Tolworth Hotel and had a really pleasant experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. My room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet despite being close to the main road. The bed was very comfy, and I had a great night’s sleep. There’s also a café and shops nearby, which made it very convenient. For the price, it’s excellent value and I’d happily stay again.

Awful, awful hotel. Do not recommend staying here! We picked as close to a wedding venue we were attending. There was a huge leak in the corridor out side our room, and towels had been laid done. These were not changed while we were there so had to walk through dirty water every time we left or returned to our room. For some reason there were also four beds in the room so very cramped when just two of us staying. I would avoid this hotel.

The customer service at this Travelodge, that I experience was disgraceful. A man called Calvin at receptive was the worst of them all. I stayed for one night The was a fire door in our room whereby noises of water was coming from We simply asked if we could move room and Calvin lied saying there is no room without looking at the system and suggested we move hotels. He was very rude and kept interrupting his colleague who actually wanted to help. More training needs to be done at this Travelodge to teach staff how to better treat their customers. I understand that Travelodge is a budget friendly hotel but that does not mean as customer we should be treated disrespectfully.

The room itself is decent, the beds are quite hard though. Bathrooms very small, water leaks all over the floor. The main negative of this venue is the food. The breakfast was awful. Had to wait around 15 mins for more food to be brought out, after paying £20 for two people. Will not be returning.

Stayed here with my girlfriend a few weeks ago. Wasn’t expecting much more than a bed to sleep. The manager with a big beard, can’t remember his name (I think it begins with a K) was an absolute gent. Helped me with our bags, the parking and gave use great recommendations for places to have fun whilst we were in Kingston. Just because of his demeanour and attitude I would most definitely go back. Absolutely brilliant customer service from him!

On the first time, there was a stain in the carpet. My mum described it as a “murder stain.” But the breakfast was lovely, worth the 9 quid.Really nice beds too. Bathrooms were pretty nice as-well
