   walk in and it stank. like stank. windows don’t shut or lock. heater doesn’t work. bathroom door doesn’t shut…clear line of sight of the toilet when the door is “closed”. bed springy but felt like sleeping on a spinal recovery position board. sheets. pillows. stanky. like feet. close to the train station though so that’s a plus. wouldn’t stay more than one night. receptionist always awake?? nice person though

   Great location, convenient to Richmond. Very run down. Shower was near impossible to work (choice between cold shower or flooding bathroom). Room had a musty smell with a slight hint of incense. Windows would not stay closed. Have stayed here 3 times in the past 2 years but won't do it again. Owners need to invest in a substantial refresh.

   Avoid like the plague Doesn’t even deserve 1* We had booked as a quite stay while going to a concert arrived and thought the place did look abit outdated but thought nothing and checked in. The room was absolutely disgusting, I wouldn’t even put my dog to live in here. The mouldy dish and water left in the kettle. The tap was hanging off when I tried to turn the water on. The shower was covered in limescale and they couldn’t even provide a full toilet paper instead their was two half’s. The window had no handles and were already open so couldn’t shut them, we were on the second floor but I didn’t feel safe. The bed had orange splodges all around it. We had contacted reception and told to come down and we would be given another room. They then checked our room and said it was completely fine and I showed him the photos I had took and was completely oblivious to what I was showing him. A very rude man who told me to stop speaking when I told him I wasn’t happy. I tried to ask for a refund and he replied the person who does them isn’t here, I asked for contact details and the story switched to that he couldn’t give me one. What a joke, will definitely not ever be going back

   I was a bit nervous after seeing some of the bad reviews here but I had a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable and clean, and the location is wonderful. This hotel is at a much more affordable price point compared to all of the other hotels in the area. Unfortunately there was no fan or AC however so the room got pretty hot overnight after an unusually warm day in Richmond. There is no fridge in the room but the staff will hold your items for you in a guest fridge in their kitchen.

   I’ve been there three times. The location is perfect since it is just besides the metro and train station. It is not a luxury hotel, obviously, but it is clean, the room was confortable enough and the staff is friendly and helpful.

   Well, the title says it all. On entry to our room, the heat was unbearable with only the dirty radiator in the bathroom switched on. The bathroom was smelly. Not a toilet smell, more a damp smell but this isn't surprising given the damaged tiles around the bath. The curtains were tattered and the window catches broken. One socket is damaged so the plug doesn't go right in. The pillows are flat and the bed quite firm. The public hair on the sheet was unwelcome. Layers of dust on top of the wardrobe and mirrors and the dirty lampshade all add to my poor review. There is no option for food. I believe this hotel is just to make the owners money but they have no interest in upgrading or carrying out the repairs. I read similar reviews to mine during our stay from last summer. Would I stay here again? Definitely not!

   Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Felt more like a hostel than a hotel! Hardly any facilities in the room. And not only was there no en-suite in the bedroom, but there was no hand soap at the sink in the shower room. The ceiling in the shower room also looked like it was falling down. Very unprofessional for a hotel

   This place is dire, dirty, unkempt, badly maintained, with lots of mould. Desperately in need of a refurb, everything is worn out and the car park is full of litter and weeds everywhere. We found people underwear and rubbish bags on the flat roof at the rear and empty beer cans and bottles scattered about the car park and perimeter. At £250 a night, this place is the pits. If the owners spend some money on a refurb, then that price is justified.

   When I arrived outside I was thinking the worst. But my room was excellent. Man at reception was a jolly character and good laugh. He let me leave my bags as I was too early to check in. Will stay here again
