Decent room, good service. About half hour walk to the train station. Ample parking. Quiet despite being close to a busy road.

Unfortunately, our stay was tarnished by the behaviour of one of the hotel managers, Polina. Polina came across as rude and patronising, which made our large group feel unwelcome. Over the course of our one week stay, we also observed the same condescending attitude in the way Polina interacted with other guests at the hotel. We booked multiple rooms, as our large group visits Borehamwood regularly for business trips. However, based on this experience with Polina, we will not be booking at the Travelodge Borehamwood (Elstree Way) again and will be taking our future business elsewhere. Luckily, there are many options nearby, such as ibis and Premier Inn.

On a visit to London, three family members in a family room, one double & two singles very comfy & room was spotless, offered more towels in reception which we took up.Service was fantastic, from the receptionist on our arrival to the lady behind the bar at night & the breakfast staff could not do enough.Breakfast was really nice & worth the fee(kids eat for a quid).Parking which i find sometimes when I stay in hotels the fees are glossed over was very reasonable £6 for 24 hours.will most certainly stay again

⭐☆☆☆☆ Overall, my stay at Travelodge Borehamwood was good — the room was clean and comfortable. However, when I arrived a few minutes after 10 a.m. to ask for breakfast, the food was still there but the receptionist, Tona, refused and spoke quite rudely. I believe I could have still been offered breakfast since I was only a few minutes late. I understand rules are rules, but a little kindness would have gone a long way.

Typical travel lodge layout. Room was fine, no air con but the open window worked ok last night. There only appeared to be one person working the bar and reception, took a while for our food to come out, and another fella checking in resorted so shouting out HELLO down the bar after approximately 10 minutes as no one was there to check him in.

Me and my partner were racially profiled when we checked in. We were served by lovely lady at check in and about 3 mins after entering the room we were told that we were smoking and smelled like weed. Nontheless, they checked the room and the lady confirmed that we had *just* checked in, but the guy on duty seemed really angry that we hadn’t smoked.

Trying to find the hotel was a bit complicated on the sat nav, literally going round in circles trying to find it! Parking is 4£ per 24 hours, not bad price but free would of been better when you have booked a room. The room was clean and bed was slightly comfy. If im not wrong the bed was supposed to be king size as stated, but i don't think it was. The TV in my room did not work at all, luckily I checked in late and was checking in early so it didn't affect me too much but would of been nice to have the tv working when i was there. Only 2 tea bags in the room and a few milks. (Okay there are tea bags etc at the front of reception but how would I have known if i needed more for my room) bit of a palava going all the way down to get more! Overall stay was ok. I would use it again if the rooms were cheaper than what I booked.

The room was nice with lifts up to the floor we needed. You get what you pay for, but the mattress was a little firmer than expected, even for travelodge. Everything else was good other than they didn't have hot drinks at the bar after about 8pm.

Marginally better than Slough, but worse service than Slough. Bathrooms are bad, need serious work both in terms of repair and updating in general. Both times I was here, the soap dispensers were nearly empty and there was a funny smell. The first time, the smell came from a sweaty smell on the bed sheets. The second time, the smell was from the bathroom, the plugholes. The staff didn't refill the soap when asked, had to wait 24 hours after asking and then ask again despite them saying they'd do it the first time. The second time I stayed there, and had to wait for hours after asking and ask again. Some of the lights don't work. There weren't fresh rolls of toilet paper.

Not really worth the money. The rooms felt and looked basic for the price. Had a thin sheet as a duvet instead of an actual duvet. Could be much better given there is a Premier Inn across the street with comfier beds.
