Was scared after seeing reviews, was it perfect……no. Rooms were a bit tired and if you looked hard enough some details of cleaning missed but overall the room was clean and comfortable. Staff on reception were lovely. Location was not the best for me but is close to Clapham junction tube so not too bad, I just hate the tube! Travel lodge just need to invest in some areas, such as new beds and carpets.

Its an ok hotel, if I'm being honest. Location perfect for what I needed. As soon as I got my key and left reception, we entered the corridor to the room which was on the bottom floor, and there was a nasty stench, almost musky like damp, but a bit more potential, and it continued into the room. We was only staying there for 1 night so we couldn't be arsed to change rooms. The room was quite spacious, with everything we needed, 2 single beds was comfortable enough for me and my son. What I couldn't understand is why there was a handle, or even a lock on the bathroom which is unusual in itself. Parking was ok but a lot of vans there, but finally found a space. There wasn't any restaurants or bars nearby, for what we saw anyway, and the hotel doesn't have any either, although there was a couple of takeaways and a co-op nearby. All in all quite adequate for a 1 night stay although I wouldn't stay there again, personally

Hello, I just wanted to share some feedback about my recent stay. The room itself wasn’t great, as there was mould in the bathroom and dust on the walls. However, I’d like to highlight the wonderful service I received from the receptionist on the 2nd–3rd of November. She was incredibly kind and patient with a guest in front of me, who seemed to be homeless and was asking for a charger. She really did her best to help him. She was also extremely welcoming to me and my boyfriend. She was genuinely kind and professional throughout. I didn’t catch her name, but she was a Black woman in her early to mid-twenties, and she absolutely deserves recognition for her excellent service.

You can see the housekeeping staff are over worked They need to hire more staff to clean the rooms ! There’s not enough housekeepers doing all the rooms. As much as you see their beautiful smiles in the mornings by the time the afternoon came you could tell by their faces they were drained! The rooms need a revamp especially the carpets ! The bed I had the material was coming off the bed base ! The location is okay The lady Kimberly at the office /reception needs to do better , as much as she tries to be friendly, she smelt of cigarettes and please be nice to staff , especially if your not helping them do their job. I wouldn’t come back here but maybe a staff revamp would be great . Get more staff in and get some friendlier faces

Well I was pleasantly surprised after reading the reviews. I was placed on the 5th floor which is quiet. Other than the corridor carpet in dire need of replacement everything else was alright. Parking is £9 for 24 hours which was reasonable too.

After booking I had done the rookie mistake of reading the reviews. After I was very apprehensive for staying at this hotel however, upon a late arrival I checked into the room okay. I did read the reviews about reception staff but I had no issues. The room was quite okay however, the bathroom seemed a bit grimy. The bed was very comfortable. I see what people mean about the hotel being outdated and is in need of an upgrade. I do feel like this Travelodge is slightly overpriced for the quality of the hotel. You do you have to pay for parking so bear that in mind. It cost around £10. I had an okay stay.

The staff who attended to me was very nice and gave me pointers to where I could have a nice meal close by. The room I stayed in on the 4th floor was very clean and quiet but the carpet and furniture in the whole building are worn out and could do with some replacement by management. Location is good with all the bus and train connections with 3 to 7 minutes if walking

The hotel was in a great location, close to Clapham Junction. The hotel itself is a bit tired looking but the room was a good size and very clean. Mimi on reception was so welcoming and helpful. So accomodating. One of her kind colleagues helped me when I needed help with accessing my room. I didn't catch her name though. 4 stars due to the hotel looking a bit run down in the communal areas. The team working there are all fabulous.
