Absolutely disgusting and unhygienic hotel. There were hairs and pubic hair all over the bed and floor, along with multiple mysterious stains, including a yellow stain on the bedsheets. The room was clearly not cleaned properly, there were stains on the lampshade and long black hair hanging from the light fixture, which I initially mistook for a shadow. Service was also very poor. We waited a long time for a receptionist to check us in, and no one appeared at checkout, forcing us to leave the key card on the desk, which felt unsafe. The soap dispensers were half empty, and the room was in such a state that we had to lay towels on the bed just to sleep. I regret not taking photos to show how dirty the room was. I would strongly advise against staying here.

Reserved a room via DayUse to stay for a few hours. I have already paid for the room, but on arrival was asked to pay again. The manager said she has not received payment. I said to manager that I had paid for the room already. Was told I must contact hotel on Monday to confirm money back. Contacted hotel on Tuesday to be told that there was nothing they could do. Manager was quite happy to charge clients twice for their own/DayUse mistake. Manager was unwilling to apologise or offer a solution. Hotel itself is run down. Poor hotel, ruse staff

Photo 1: Dirt in bathroom. Showed this to staff, said they would clean it. Never did. Picture 2: shower doesn't drain at all. This is the extend water reached after leaving water running 20 seconds. Leave it on any longer and it floods out the room, so obviously didn't do that and had a sink "shower". Stayed here for a night. Paid in advance. On arrival, receptionist claimed we had not yet paid, despite me showing him the bank transaction on my phone. Got a simple "computer says no" reply. In fact, gave me the run around by making me call the website that we booked through (turns out it was the hotels fault, not the intermediary, so made me waste my time while I stood in the lobby for 40 mins). Had to pay twice as I didn't have time to go elsewhere. Did later get my money refunded but it was a hassle and soured the trip. Don't bother booking the breakfast either. It is breakfast in name only. Coffee machine didn't work, a few sad slices of pre packed cheese and a couple of hard boiled eggs. Better off going to a cafe next door.

I had a really great stay at The Putney Hotel. The room was super clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious for London. The bed was really comfy, and the bathroom had a nice, powerful shower — perfect after a day out exploring. The staff were lovely too — friendly, helpful, and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The location is spot on. It’s just a short walk from Putney Station, so getting around was a breeze. Plus, there are loads of nice cafés, pubs, and shops right around the corner, and the Thames is just a few minutes away. It felt like a cozy little escape in a great part of the city. Would 100% Stay again.

The hotel offered excellent service, clean rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere. Staff were attentive and friendly throughout our stay. The location was convenient, with easy access to attractions and transport. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience—perfect for both business and leisure travelers. Highly recommended.

I recommend that you do not make a booking with the Putney Hotel. Having had my booking for a month, they cancelled the day before. Booking with another hotel at the last minute cost me an extra £70 but Putney Hotel refused to offer any compensation. A stressful and unpleasant experience.

Room needed a good clean... very dark..walls hand prints on it.. chipped paint.. Bathroom newly done, but needs good clean..only one towel for two of us... Bed was clean but very bumpy, but definitely not a 4 star, more like a 2 star...for money charged very disappointing..

I called a taxi on a way to a mates and I suffer from IBS. I politely asked to use the restroom or I'm going to have an accident, however the doorman refused even, if I was going to pay! Absolutely disrespectful for people with disabilities.

Great place, near the station, alot of shops around restaurants, clothing, mobile phone stores, breakfast, lunch, movie theater.... in short very damn well located.. I guess that justifies its price. The rooms are decent as well. A roof shower, and for our Arab friends it has a water hose near the toilet for those looking for that. Highly recommend it for short stays

It's located close to the high street where all the shops are. Recently opened and so everything is still.new inside. Room size was good. BUT there is a railway line right outside the back of the hotel. So if you're lucky like I was to get one of these rooms be prepared to be listening to trains going past from 5.00 am onwards.
