A dreadful experience starting with how unwilling the staff was to accommodate basic things we checked in a cold room without been saying that heaters not working. We paid nearly 800 £ for a cold room offering us a heater in return .Desc lady with pink hairy was by far the worst customer service I ever received. we been here several times in the past but we never had an issue on the contrary the Portuguese Brazilian lady always went above and beyond. This time the reception lady act like she is doing us a favour and I just asked the simplest thing if u expecting guests please turn the hit on..it is unreal how we ve.been treat from reception desc we had to ask 3 times for heating. Neitherless to say this will be the last time saying in this Hotel.A Joke for 800£ AVOID

Expensive from what they offer. Narrow reception area , staff tries their best but you can sense they are stressed, especially during busy hours. Room could benefit from deep cleaning, there are areas that you can see lack of attention to detail. As with all Travelodge the bed was comfortable and relaxing. Noise wasn't too bad when considering the location.

I stayed at Travelodge Wood Green on 22 November and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The room was not cleaned properly — there was visible dirt, an unpleasant odour, and basic amenities were missing or didn’t work. On top of that, when I raised my concerns, the staff were dismissive and rude rather than helpful or apologetic, which made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. Between the poor cleanliness, lack of maintenance, and unprofessional staff behaviour, this stay fell far below my expectations. I would not recommend this hotel and I hope Travelodge addresses these serious issues.

It was dangerous. The power wasn't on for much of the time. We had to climb 122 stairs in the dark - many times. I got trapped in the dark area between stairs and passage because I didn't have a keycard to open the door, because we couldn'y get keycards without power! No water, lights, power, drinks etc for first 2.5 hours of stay. I heard that when the lift did work again, it trapped 3 people for 90 minutes. Electrical faults can happen to anyone. Dealing with it this badly requires special skill. Where was management? Why were there only two staff the whole time when the crisis occurred? Why was the emergency lighting in the fire stairs not functional, but purely ornamental? Why did the hotel not have more torches? Why weren’t guests supplied with torches? Why did the lift have no warning on it? Why were we not brought water during the hours when water was unavailable? What would happen to guests in this hotel in the event of fire? I do not blame the overworked two staff members. Especially on the first night, they worked their socks off in an incredibly stressful situation. This was beyond an unacceptable stay. It was both thoroughly unpleasant and downright dangerous.

The hotel didn't have so high level, I was surprised of not a free WiFi. Also they forgot to clean our room after first night. Good thing was a kettle with coffee and tea and functional heating system.

Travel Lodge Wood Green London was a pleasant surprise for me, actually. Parking was spot on at the shopping centre car park, a few metres away from the reception. The room was clean, tidy and staffs were courteous and efficient. The front door was right on the High Street and perfect for restaurants and shopping. "I'll be back"✔️

This budget hotel is conveniently located for both rail travel (Alexandra Palace station) and the Tube (Turnpike Lane and Wood Green on the Piccadilly Line). The sliding-door entrance is on a busy high street with lots of shops and places to buy food and drink. My room for two nights was small but adequate, with a very comfortable bed. However, as I wasn't out of the room by 11am, my room wasn't serviced. Staff were helpful and courteous. There is a fair bit of noise late at night and early morning. But that's only to be expected. The area felt reasonably safe, despite all the people wearing hoodies – athough I was abused by one man on the street when I walked past him close to the entrance. Like any busy part of London, you need to have your wits about you. I paid just £40 a night for a Thursday and Friday in early January – very good value. Overall, a good budget option for staying in London that's less than half an hour from the centre by Tube.

Nice cozy and clean rooms at the heart of market. Ample of shops, superstores (Morrisons and Sainsbury's local) and restaurants nearby open till late night. The nearest tube station is wood greens which is 15 mins from Kings Cross. If you are looking for a no frills room to sleep after a long days work, try this out.

Nice hotel, it is quiet so you can rest, the person at the reception is very helpful with the things you ask or need (we needed a hair dryer and for the room to be warmer). The hotel is clean and bed is comfortable. The location is convenient since it's just a few minutes from the underground station and bus stops. The only bad thing is that they don't provide free WiFi, which as a tourist, you need a lot. They have a small card saying that the first 30 min are free and then you need to pay.
