I stayed at the Hilton London Olympia for three days. While the location is excellent, right on High Street Kensington with easy access to transport and shops, the overall experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, the front desk didn’t acknowledge my Diamond membership and insisted I wait until 3 p.m. for check-in, despite room availability. Only after mentioning it in a review context did another staff member step in and offer a room. The hotel itself is in urgent need of renovation. The room felt cramped, with a low ceiling even for someone of average height. There was no dedicated lounge for Diamond members, just a small restaurant corner offering minimal snacks. On the positive side, the towels were clean. However, the bathroom was outdated, and overall, the property is clearly in need of a refresh. In summary, while the location is ideal, the service and condition did not meet expectations. I won’t be returning until significant improvements are made.

Very basic hotel, not at the level of a four-star property. The reservation was made four months in advance with a request for a large bed, yet on arrival I was given a twin room due to β€œlack of availability”, which clearly shows that guest requests are not taken into account. Management is equally unhelpful, offering no solutions at all, as if they were doing you a favour by providing the room and you should simply accept it. The room itself was extremely basic and cold, heated with a domestic oil heater. The hotel clearly needs a full refurbishment to meet four-star standards, as well as a much more professional management with proper attention to customer service.

We called reception to ask if it would be possible to borrow a bowl because the packaging of the food we ordered had broken and the broth was spilling. The staff member who answered was very kind and assured us that it was β€œno problem at all,” which we truly appreciated. However, after several minutes passed with no bowl delivered (and while we were still holding the leaking ramen over the sink) we called again. This time, a different staff member, who identified himself as the manager, told us, β€œNo one is coming,” simply because the food wasn’t ordered from the hotel. This was truly disappointing. It was a very simple request that wouldn’t have caused any loss or inconvenience to the hotel. We even offered to wash the bowl and return it; we just urgently needed something to keep the mess from getting worse. To add to this, the bathroom facilities in our room were already below expectations. The shower head was leaking, and there was very little separation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, causing water to spread everywhere. We brushed these issues off and didn’t make a fuss, but receiving such dismissive service on top of that made the experience even worse. Having worked in the hotel industry myself, I know that small gestures like this can make a huge difference in a guest’s experience. The lack of consideration and compassion in this situation reflects poorly on the management team and left us feeling quite dissatisfied. Unfortunately, this has been the worst service we have received from any hotel during all our travels, and because of this experience, we will not be returning.

Convenient location for Olympia, just a 2 min walk away. Nice breakfast buffet and restaurant was pleasant, bar was good too with attentive staff. The rooms however whilst spacious enough and comfortable and clean, were a bit dated in appearance and lack of charging points. The bed was comfortable enough but the ventilation fancoil unit was noisy and the heating/cooling controls didn't work in my room, could hear road traffic and sirens throughout the night on Kensington High Street too so all considered it wasn't a great night's sleep either of the 2 night stay sadly.

We arrived too early for check in at the Hilton London Olympia but we were able to leave our bags with the concierge which was really helpful. After exploring a small part of London, there is an awful lot to see after all, we returned to the hotel to complete the check in formalities and head to our room. The lady on reception was polite, friendly and helpful and not long after arriving we were on our way. We made it to our room on the third floor and found the room a little aged for a Hilton Hotel. It was generally clean and the room was of an average size with the usual amenities that you would expect. Unfortunately there was no shower gel in the bathroom and the usual Crabtree brand was not to be seen. After a call and a short wait the missing shower gel was delivered to the room by the team. One disappointing feature in the room was the air conditioning, the disappointment relates to the noise which was an ongoing feature in the room. Thankfully it did not disturb our sleep too much but it could for many. We did go for breakfast in our time at the property and there were plenty of options available though there were some inconsistencies on some of the options on each day, though the coffee was not great unfortunately. It was also clear there was an opportunity to improve on general cleanliness as we found empty wine glasses and bottles in areas around the hotel at times for example. Overall it was an ok stay and was convenient for the part of London we were exploring.

I stayed here for 3 days and really enjoyed it. It started off well with super accommodating luggage storage and the front desk people were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and modern with nice and convenient touches plus daily housekeeping kept it fresh. The shower/bath was lovely too. The location was also nice as well with Kensington High St a short walk away with shops, cafes, restaurants and a tube station. I would for sure stay there again next time I’m in London.

The hotel is neat and clean! The family room was of a slightly old style, but much bigger than we expected, which was great. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the service at the hotel restaurant during the breakfast buffet was fantastic - especially Mr Samer. Overall a lovely experience at the hotel. Also, the location is fantastic. Despite there being a train and underground strike, we were able to use the bus to get to all the places we wanted to, fairly quickly. Would definitely stay there again!

Room was a good size but somewhat outdated. USB chargers did not work, although the hotel did offer me extra adapters to use in exchange. Bathroom was small and there was no hair dryer. Overall good value for the price and a good location just a bit dated in appearance.

Treated my boyfriend to The Hilton Hotel for our anniversary. Was good price and very central with good transport near by. Reception staff very friendly. Room was good size and massive tv, good bathroom which had shower/ bath. Bath was very deep , lovely hot water but quite small. More shampoo and body wash could have made it better. The only bad thing i would say is the duvet was very thin. Would stay again though

I love the location of this hotel, close to circle line train and buses. The staff was great and I enjoyed the breakfast. I stayed on the 6fl and the room really needs updating. Overall, it was well worth the price. I will stay at this hotel again. Nothing Hill Carnival was life. I had a great time!
