I booked this property last minute for two female friends who had an unexpected emergency and needed somewhere safe to stay. We booked around 8:30pm and received the self check-in instructions shortly after. However, when we arrived at around 11:30pm, we found the room completely unprepared and clearly used: – the door was unlocked – the bed was unmade – towels were on the floor – used mugs were on the ground – leftover items (including a cigarette paper packet) were left on surfaces (See photos.) I immediately called the customer service number and explained the situation. The person on the phone admitted it may have been a mistake by cleaners and initially offered a full refund, stating there were no alternative rooms available. I mentioned that this left my friends stranded at nearly midnight and that I would need to leave a review — at which point he began shouting, accusing me of “threatening” him. Minutes later, the owner arrived at the room and told us we had to leave immediately or he would “charge us for being in the room,” despite acknowledging the situation. This forced two women out onto the street in Edmonton close to midnight to find another hotel. If I had not been there to help them with bags, the situation could have been far worse. This morning we then received a message falsely accusing us of bringing an extra guest, deliberately disturbing the room, and submitting an “unfounded complaint” — all completely baseless. The room was in that condition when we arrived, as clearly shown in the photos. Given the unsafe condition of the room, the lack of professionalism, being shouted at by staff, and being removed from the property late at night, I cannot recommend this place at all. Customer service was extremely poor from start to finish.

Shocking service. They don’t want to change my reservation even that is months in advance. The owner keeps saying they will be charged from booking.com -which is absolute lie as I spoke to Booking before i rang them . Bunch of scumers trying to manage a business without a basic understanding of it . The worst part is the Booking.com reputation is definitely affcted as well, because they work with such a miserable and unprofessional creatures .

My husband is disabled and booked this as advertised accessible rooms and accessible parking eith EV charging as we have an electric car. We contacted the owners as unfortunately my phone lead in the car died and so did my phone so I couldn't access my booking. They supposed me to get into the property but though it stated accessible parking and there was no where to park i was advised it was on a first come basis and we would need yo lot elsewhere for parking. I had to park the car streets away as in a housing estate with little parking. The room was not accessible and my husband was only able to get through the door and straight onto the bed. On the door it actually stated no parking only street parking which was different from advertised. It stated soundproof room but we heard everyone in the building walking, shouting, walking , showering and flushing the toilet as well as the main door banging. It was 2am ehen we finally managed to sleep but was woken again at 6am. The room was coded but must be the same for all rooms as someone came into our coded room and we had to block the door when sleeping as felt unsafe. We were booked for 2 nights and messaged the property but though supposed to be 24/7 support were ignored. We decided to only stay one night and if we could have afforded another accommodation would not have stayed. Whilst we were waiting to leave we were knocked on by the cleaner who informed us we should have been out. I informed her we had booked 2 nights so shouldn't have been out but was leaving due to numerous issues. Instead after attending the NFL game locally I drove over 6hrs home rather than staying there another night. Still kot heard from the property

I had arranged an early check-in for 2 pm through Booking.com and by phone with the hotel before arrival, and this was confirmed. However, upon arrival there was no reception area — instead, I had to call the hotel, pay a check-in fee, and send a security deposit. I was told the access codes would be sent right away, but it took over an hour before they arrived, which made for a frustrating start. The location isn’t ideal, with limited street parking if the driveway is full, though it was convenient for attending an event at Tottenham. On a positive note, the rooms themselves were clean, modern, and comfortable. Both the deposit and check-in fee were refunded promptly within three days after the stay. Overall, if the hotel improved its customer service and streamlined the check-in process, it could significantly reduce the number of negative reviews and provide a much better guest experience

I arrived at Paragraph Edmonton on 25/07/2025 with a fully confirmed booking made months in advance through Booking.com. To my shock, I was told by the property manager that my reservation had been cancelled — something I was never informed of. In fact, I had received multiple reminders and even check-in time confirmations from Booking.com just days before arrival. The manager offered no solution, no apology, and no assistance whatsoever. I was left stranded in London without accommodation, with no help from either the property or Booking.com. Meanwhile, other guests were allowed in with ease. It felt like I had simply been cast aside. This experience was incredibly stressful, and the lack of professionalism and accountability from the property was appalling. I wouldn’t trust this place with your travel plans — if anything goes wrong, you’re completely on your own. Strongly recommend avoiding Paragraph Edmonton.

We gad three rooms and one of them wasn't cleaned and the hotel is about a 20 min taxi ride from Wood Green Station. not walking distance as we was advised on booking.

There’s plenty of good points staying here, one is that the rooms are clean, modern and comfortable, secondly there is free parking. Thirdly it’s easy to access once you’ve figured out the door entry. The downside is that it’s noisy, you can hear snoring next door, the doors banging and any movement from other guests. So bring your earplugs for a good nights sleep and a face mask if you prefer your room darker when sleeping.

For the £65 we payed this was totally ideal and so cheap, great value for money. We was at a funeral the next day in tottenham everywhere is so expensive. Me and my wife found this spot and thought why not. Firstly the room was absolutely spotless, one off the cleanest rooms weve stayed in. The room we stayed in was small but very well decorated and modern, it has secure locking like ive never seen haha! The shower is so nice and refreshing. The bed was real comfy aswell, we give it five stars! We Will deffo stay again 100%. The only negative is the are no windows and it did get a little hot, however there is a fan in the room and i did see for a little extra you can get a room with a window, which ill be doing next time. Thanks again and see you again. P.s parking right outside no problems.

Good value for money, really nice building with good instructions before arrival. Rooms were really nice and modern, bed comfortable. Only reason for lower score is that there was no window in the room and it got very warm. The fan provide was coated in dust and gunk so couldn't use.
