This stay has been so amazing that I felt compelled to leave a review while still here — currently lying in one of the comfiest beds ever. Everything about our experience has been exceptional, from the thoughtful touches to the genuinely friendly and welcoming staff. I almost never leave reviews during a stay, but the team here has gone above and beyond and made this visit truly special. I honestly can’t say a single negative thing. Such a fantastic experience — highly recommend.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Virgin Hotel Shoreditch Dec 8-11th, 2025. We stayed in a King Chamber room which was small but beautifully designed and clean. The steam shower was a highlight for us I was addicted! Room service requests were easy through the TV and the staff were friendly enough. A wonderful Boutique hotel close to Liverpool street station. I was born and raised in the UK but now call Canada my home, this was a wonderful experience that made our trip one of the highlights. Thank you Virgin Hotel Shoreditch.

Reviewed yesterday I stayed here as it was a great location from office vs where the works Christmas party was located. Little did I think I would not end up going to the party. The room was so lovely, I ended up ordering room service, getting in my robe, put on a movie with a facemask and relaxed for the evening. Total bliss. The warm chocolate chip cookies are the best. You are get complimentary chocolate and a big bottle of water with a note which is a lovely touch. x

Used some Virgin Atlantic points to book 2 nights at the Virgin Hotel in London. Shoreditch is a reasonable location, with good restaurants and walking distance to tube stations, though parts of Shoreditch still look pretty rough including the graffiti covered closed down car park opposite the hotel. Hotel positives are: decent sized rooms; clean; good bathroom; really nice breakfast; its good fun watching the “influencers” posing for selfies in the roof-top pool though not actually swimming at all. Hotel negatives are: the Smeg fridge is rather noisy, which even woke my wife (who normally sleeps through anything and everything); there is a bit of traffic noise due to the location being close to a main route; the red lights in the lift (elevator) are freaky; the pillows are not so good (1 is too thin, 2 are too high). Overall it is a good hotel and we would happily stay again, and in fact thinking we may go back in a few months.

Hddn Grvs: A High-Fidelity Prelude to an Epic Day Before the adrenaline of the pitch, my husband and I kicked off what was already a bucket list day at Hddn Grvs, a phenomenal high-fidelity listening cocktail bar right in the London city center. Tucked away and possessing a distinctly speakeasy vibe, Hddn Grvs is an elegant and bold nod to the golden age of vinyl and the pioneering spirit of Virgin Records. It’s more than just a place for drinks; it’s an immersive experience where you can truly sink into curated sound at the dedicated listening stations. The cocktail menu is pure genius, artfully remixing iconic ‘70s albums with a modern twist. The drinks are bold, nostalgic, and totally made to be discovered. It was the perfect, stylish, and electrifying pause before the main event. What a truly unforgettable and exciting day—everything about it felt perfectly curated!

Stayed here with a friend from out of town, even though I live in London! We had a lovely evening. The room was compact but had all you needed. Really disappointingly, the steam shower was not working in our room, which was such a shame as we'd been looking forward to taking turns in that! Nice hotel though, and would definitely use it again.

Perfect place. Friendly relaxed staff, great location, laurels on the roof a lovely bright place to spend an afternoon. Pool very small and you’re in view of the diners but cute. Got a great room upgrade through efforts of reception girl from Moldova, don’t remember name..! Had a large roof terrace though not much use in winter, I’d love to come back to it in summer.

They kindly squeezed us in for an early dinner even though they were fully booked. I really appreciated their efforts but it meant we rushed our dinner slightly. As a a result we sent for a number of the sharing plates… absolutely brilliant. We loved it and will definitely be back for a more leisurely evening. The atmosphere was noisy and lovely. The service was very friendly and helpful. Because we felt hurried I chose wine from the “by the glass” section so its difficult to comment on the wine list although - as by the glass sections go… pretty good. Next time we will book, and enjoy a full night out - and i reckon my updated score could be a 5

We stayed one night in this hotel. We were most impressed in the quality of our room and the very friendly staff. The room was immaculately clean and fresh. A few lovely touches including a hand written welcome note from the staff on duty. The bath in the bedroom was an interesting feature. We did have some issues at breakfast with dietary requirements (gluten and dairy free) but they were addressed as we checked out and left our feedback. Overall a great experience and we will book here again. Thank you.

This hotel blew me away. The room had everything you would need, including a steam shower, espresso machine, slippers, dressing gown and the little extras that people often forget like dental kits and creams. The pool at the top of the hotel was heated, so even on a chilly day, it still felt nice to go in. The breakfast was great quality. The only slight criticism I have is that the service in the rooftop restaurant was a little off I.e our drinks came at different times, had to call for service on the first day and a small issue with breakfast which was resolved quickly. Overall we had a fantastic experience and left feeling relaxed.
