Disappointing Experience with The Forest Gate Hotel I recently stayed at The Forest Gate Hotel and was extremely disappointed with the service. Despite having a confirmed booking, I was told that the room was overbooked, and they couldn't accommodate me as expected. The lack of organization and communication from the hotel staff was frustrating, and I had to spend extra time resolving the issue. The hotel's customer service seemed unprepared to handle the situation, and I was left feeling disrespected as a paying customer. The experience overshadowed what could have been a great stay otherwise. I hope the hotel takes steps to improve their booking process and customer service. *Rating:* 0/5 stars *Recommendation:* Be cautious with bookings, and consider verifying with the hotel directly to avoid similar issues.

Reviewing as a pub as not obvious on Google. Great place which needs more publicity. Lovely staff, good drinks selection, pool table, darts, shows sport.

I'm being a bit reluctant to rate the place as they Are spending time and money to improve the bar area and potentially they will do the same for the accommodation. Unfortunately we booked a stay via the Web and somehow we were forgotten about. We waited about 4hrs before we gave up, neither of the contact numbers worked. I do hope that they will get this sorted as it is in a good place with regards to parking and the underground.

Nostalgia trip down memory lane to Forest Gate Hotel. Place felt familiar but odd, big TVs on the wall for sports nights. Bar person was friendly and the locals seemed to be enjoying the space. Will call in again when down that way.

Horrible hotel, even intended for workers, very cold, dirty linen, I wonder how to get an operating permit and I'm surprised that there are no controls here... I don't know, but I give my opinion that even in the places specially arranged for street people, they have better conditions compared to what I met here...

I know it's a budget room and it was ok for one night however both headboards on the beds in our room were broken and the room was very dusty. The building and interiors could do with some TLC.

It was really bad experience. The Knob of the room heater was broken and room was boiling and after asking the staff their reply was I am sorry we can't do anything. Most of the staff was very unwelcoming. There was no breakfast on Saturday morning because the lady responsible for, didn't show up that day so we had paid for breakfast but didn't got one. The fridge in the room was all broken and dirty..

I mean it's a budget hotel for sure, and price range it's incredibly cheap for London, but do not expect a clean room, we got bit in our beds, the fridge absolutely stunk of stale milk I advise you don't open it. You share showers and toilets and they're not the cleanliness, we got greated by a manager telling customers to "**** off and go through booking.com". If anyone complains about the cleanliness of the room they just ignore you and assume your wanting money back. But it's a good location and if they really put some money into better training, then they could make something worth staying in
