   We had a wonderful stay, and a big part of that was thanks to Mohammed. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. Mohammed went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His excellent customer service truly made our stay more enjoyable. I truly recommend this hotel as its a few metres away from Custom House station. A real credit to the hotel—thank you, Mohammed!

   Staff are friendly, polite and extremely helpful. The room was clean and we had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy and we had the best sleep ever! The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the Elizabeth line, excel centre, cable cars and more.... There are some amazing restaurants within walking distance (less than 5 to 10mins).

   We had a wonderful dinner at the Novotel London Excel restaurant. We were served by a lovely waitress, Olga, as well as another very friendly team member whose name we unfortunately didn’t catch. Both were warm, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The food was absolutely delicious and arrived with perfect timing — hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. Everything from the service to the atmosphere made for a great dining experience. We left super happy and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

   What a great hotel! Really convenient spot, close and easy trains into the city but still quiet and rather peaceful. The rooms were comfortable and clean and well appointed. Best part was breakfast! Marco was welcoming and very friendly, the staff were all helpful and kind and kept the restaurant turning over even at a very early hour! Really was an excellent find and we will stay here again.

He went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcomed and comfortable, and nothing was ever too much trouble for him. Mohammed’s professionalism, warm attitude, and attention to detail truly made my stay memorable. He is a credit to Novotel and a shining example of what excellent hospitality looks like.    Clean and pleasant hotel. Staff extremely welcoming and polite and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. The only little snag I had was in the bathroom there was no shampoo in the shower. I looked everywhere but could not find any. As a regular hotel stayer I never leave home without the essentials. So not an issue as such.

   A great, lovely hotel which accommodates all your needs. Upon signing in, we were told we were being upgraded to executive rooms with no extra charge. The rooms were nice and clean. Nice and cosy. We had a great view as well which was nice. I have no complaint other than it can get extremely hot at times but that’s a minor. In addition, the hotel is only a 5 mins walk to the station so it is easy to travel to and from the location. We’ll be definitely booking rooms here again in the future.

   We booked 2 interconnected family rooms for 5 nights however one of the rooms had a foul smell and we requested an immediate change. The problematic room was changed however they fail to keep up with their promise to give us 2 interconnected rooms as we have requested from the beginning and what we actually paid for. My family with young kids therefore had to stay in 2 separate rooms for all the stay which was unacceptable but had no other choice as the hotel was prepaid many weeks in advance. Breakfast staff was great however most of the reception staff were too slow and seemed inexperienced, not even the manager was helpful in our case. Location was good however I would suggest the IBIS hotel next time which is in the same building block.

   Excellent location for excel. Facilities are good in standard Breakfast was good Rooms are not to a clean standard, dirty cups, stains on floors, stains in bathroom and separate toilet. In my room there were coffee stains still on walls and floors. Bed was comfortable
