We had a brilliant night for a works Christmas party. (80's and 90's). The food was lovely, and piping hot. Staff attentive , atmosphere was great. We had a brilliant night and the dance floor was packed. Would definitely recommend here and would come back again. Thanks.

The rooms are very dated , but are large and the beds are fairly good. The lake was v nice and lots of relaxing bird life around. The food was less than wetherspoons quality at a much higher price which is a shame because for a value hotel this is not at all bad. If it's cheaper than the local premier inn it's worth a look but maybe eat somewhere else.

We came for the Christmas doggy afternoon tea and it did not disappoint. Each dog had their own tower of homemade goodies and even a toy each. The offerings for the humans was delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere was delightful. Definitely recommend

Rooms are adequate, needs updating, a small fridge would be a great addition, and a small sofa. Great to have a bath available. Overall an excellent Inn, and Adhi really made everyone feel extremely welcome! Apart from one part-time team member of staff who was absolutely rude, unprofessional and arrogant, and even Adhi tried to apologize on his behalf. A complete let down for a team that works so well together, for one individual to destroy that. We couldnt stay for breakfast in the morning so they offered takeaway sandwiches which was so lovely! A really nice surprise. Dinner was good, and they even have a doggie menu!! Some rooms face the carpark so if there is availability do ask for a lakeview room. Beautiful location, fair price and excellent views of the lake! . Overall better and personal service, better than the bigger chains. Definitely highly recommended.

Wonderful afternoon tea for our Mother’s funeral wake. The Fountain Suite was a beautiful venue and the food was delicious. Lovely vegan options for one family. The staff were quietly attentive and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Phoebe (Events) and all the staff could not have been more helpful, both in planning beforehand and on the day itself. Very highly recommended.

Had my wedding here and the events team could not have been more helpful if they tried, they accommodated my needs and wants through the whole process and made the day run so smoothly, The toastmaster supplied for our day was absolutely brilliant also. my only concern was not having a food tasting session, but i was offered tickets to one of their events nights to have a meal which i could not attend (included in my package), but i need not of worried as the food was lovely and everyone said it was a tasty meal. I will be going back for dinner. The buffet was also of great standard. myself and my husband are so glad we chose to have our wedding here, great staff, great food and amazing scenery , highly recommend

Was very disappointed with the hotel. The lake view was fantastic but there was no mention of the very busy road on the other side of the hotel, our room was on this side and too noisy to have your window open. The car park outside our window was full of vans and lorries that left at 6 to 6.30 am. The rooms and bathrooms were very dated and need a complete revamp, our friends toilet did not stop flushing and the bath had chunks of the enamel missing. The hotel dining room was closed it said due to covid???? Yes you can get bar snack food but not what we wanted!! The breakfast was really good, lots of choice. I was really disappointed especially as I had booked this for 3 couples and as a surprise for a 70th birthday.

Attended the 80’s tribute night at the weekend and had a room booked to stay overnight. Sadly the first room allocated fell way short of standards - bathroom ceiling covered in black mould as was the shower curtain rail. Bath had chunks of enamel missing. Plastic toilet seat came off in my hand and the ceiling light/fan was not working. Friendly and apologetic reception staff allocated us another room which was was only marginally better in that the loo seat was in place and it had slightly less mould in the bathroom but still not as clean as I would expect. No extractor fans in the bathrooms or windows so mould is always going to be an issue. Food - this was underwhelming and not good value for money. It was cold and served a lot later than expected leaving only 2 hours to enjoy the DJ and live music. Entertainment: Although an 80’s night with a decade worth of songs to choose from, the first song was from the 90’s (Peter Andre) and we also had the 70’s thrown in? Why? DJ was ok…. Live singer not so good. Location: Stunning views of the lake if you get a room on the right side of the hotel.
