   I have been staying in the hotel on and off for the past 8 weeks with my husband and son. I would just like to say how accommodating and friendly caring and helpful the staff are.and What can i say about the manager, Ruth, she is one in a million. From what i see from Ruth, she is great with her staff as of she is with thee guess. Thank you all very much. We will miss you when we go.

   Arrived around 6.30pm. Checked in by the manager Ruth who was very welcoming and lovely to speak to. Rooms clean and respectful. Later popped to the near by restaurant where my little one got a bit upset returning to the room. Ruth heard and took the time to soothe and talk to her and my eldest daughter. Highly recommend this place and Ruth who makes it.

   No issues with parking. Receptionist was friendly. Everything else was bad. It was hot but there was no air conditioning, so you either needed to keep the windows open (and be disturbed by the traffic), or use the rather loud fan. I was itchy all over when I got in bed, though can’t say what the cause was (possibly the detergent). There were no plugs near the bed. The bathroom was grim- I was not surprised to see brown smears on the wall next to the tissue dispenser. Yeah, the cleaning wasn’t good enough. There was damage to sockets etc, it was all just poorly maintained. I won’t stay here again, obviously.

   Great hotel for stop over if traveling to ferries Eurostar. Always good for great staff and although yes it is old building so I don’t expect top notch rooms but they are kept spotless. Lots of free parking but remember to register when you arrive. They don’t do food or drink here but there is a bar next door that does and Nell’s cafe up road for amazing American themed breakfast

   The kettle kept tripping out the electric but was soon sorted by the staff. Heating would not work properly again the staff were on it and saved the day. Staff were very helpful

   The staff were excellent, especially Michelle, Debbie & Bella, they were extremely helpful & friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was good, very comfortable bed. I will definitely stay again.

   Stayed here for the night. It's a premier inn, they're all pretty much the same. The hotel itself is feeling a bit tied and in need of a refresh. Elements in the room, heater scratched and damaged, Air Con didn't seem to work, extractor fan on the wall seemed to be really old and was damaged, finally the TV was very small for the size of the room. But with all of that, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

   Staff very helpful and friendly, made the stay very pleasant. The rooms are in need of a little TLC and renew, as is looking rather tired in several ways. Don't get me wrong, our room was clean and we would stay again.
