   Great location for exploring into Windsor. We walked into Windsor, took approx 30 mins to walk to the Long Mile. We also took the bus which the stop is right outside the lodge and takes you right by the castle. We were greeted with a nice welcome upon checking in and shown to our room. Everything was explained and was knowledgeable of the area and answered all our questions. Breakfast was nice and plenty on offer, note it's only cooked breakfast and no options of continental (as one person near us complained about). We had carvery one night and would recommend to pre book as it was busy. Rooms are lovely and spacious and comfortable. Whilst you are near the airport you can hear planes through the day but we didn't notice them at night or early morning. We were warned about the bin men coming early (they are actively trying to sort this) but we weren't bothered by that and it wasn't that bad. There is a separate night entrance to the lodge for guests with access by fob. Would recommend to stay here for a great base for exploring the area.

   Staff when booking were extremely helpful as the website was migrating when I first tried to book. This was easily sorted. Furthermore, staff at the hotel were super helpful when checking in. The rooms are well laid out, clean and in good working order. The bathroom is a good size with a super hot shower. The beds are really comfortable, being on the firm side. I would ask for a magnification mirror above the table on the room as women don't always like to stand in a steamy bathroom to apply make up (hotels rooms are always designed for men and this needs to change!). We enjoyed taster menu food in the restaurant/bar and this was delicious. We will be having that again. Check out was simple with online check out offered (as well as online check in).

   Couldn't fault a thing. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully presented and clean with great facilities. It was quiet, comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was included and it was top notch - without doubt the best buffet breakfast we have ever had in a UK hotel. Even the coffee was delicious! We would definitely stay there or at another Toby Carvery again and would highly recommend it.

   Food very homely and tasty. Feels like I was at a friend for dinner. Lovely ambiance of the restaurant. Staff fun and friendly. Keep Paula the South African, she's great too. Love the place and will come again with more friends. Geneviève and Kelly.

   All good - Spacious room. Comfortable beds. Good sized, clean bathroom. Good shower. Adequately equipped. Slept well. Quiet. Had all that we needed. Only improvement - yogurt and fresh fruit option for breakfast would have been welcomed.

   Everything was very good apart from the breakfast which was missing many key ingredients. There was no egg, no selection of jam, no cereal out on display. It seemed a half hearted effort to be honest, but the rest was so good that it wouldn’t put me off staying again, I would just lower my expectations of breakfast.

   Rooms were nice and clean. Good amount of space and a good location for what we needed. Staff were not great, slow and not attentive. When needing to contact the hotel they didn’t pick up after multiple call over a course of a week to try get an early check in again with emails no response. During our stay we need to contact the hotel when we were out again no pick up we had to return to the hotel to get information. Oh a whole great room but awful customer service
