   You will be amazed when you walk through the shop you enter a wonder land of trees.plants. pots. Herbs and so much more. Also pet food and fruit and veg. It's a must visit. They have some amazing Christmas tress in December So nice to go to a shop where the staff are so helpful. And give a smile. The plants are kept in amazing shape. Need hanging baskets and everything you need. This is the place Great customer service You can just pop in or like me spend 30 mins just looking at everything

   I run my own landscaping company and I needed to source a wide selection of shrubs and plants, to fill my son's raised planting area. Pets and gardens stocks a very large selection of garden plants at competitive prices. All appeared fresh and well maintained. The outdoor plants are situated on the footpath directly in front of the shop. There is also a much larger selection in the rear grounds of the property. During my visit, I needed to purchase about £250 worth of architectural type plants. I wanted to provide colour through the use of foliage, as opposed to using flowers, and I was not disappointed by the choice and range on offer. Many of the smaller perennials were excellently priced, whilst many of the larger shrubs, bamboos and ornamentals were priced at £50 and above. (Still considerably cheaper than the average garden centre). The manager and staff were all very friendly, attentive and helpful. They even packed all of my plants into suitably sized boxes and allowed me to load them directly into my van at the rear of the property. No trade discount was offered but in today's economic climate, that was neither surprising or expected. All in all it was a great experience and I would strongly recommend visiting this hugely popular store for all your plants and shrubs.

   Several friends and I have bought regularly from here for 20+ years. However , the new owners give NO guarantee for shrubs or trees. Two of us bought shrubs which subsequently died soon after purchase. On separate occasions we returned to the shop complete with the name and price tag but were met with total disinterest and bluntly dismissed. They issue no receipt either so proof of purchase is impossible. We recommend that you go to a garden centre that gives a guarantee and is sympathetic and courteous. to to them
