   We booked the swiss ski glamping pod, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a lift up the hill to our pod with a golf buggy. The pods theme was fantastic and well decorated. Loved the extra decoration for my partner's birthday and the champagne and brownies. The hot tub was easy to use and warm up. We were given plenty of logs. The site is located not far from Bolton Abbey and has beautiful views.

   Such a lovely campsite! We camped during October half term. Everything is well thought out and it’s well run. Green and peaceful with lovely views. Really good coffee in the morning. Very clean and well maintained bathrooms and washing up. All staff friendly, welcoming and helpful. Lovely to be able to walk directly from campsite to Bolton Abbey. Highly recommend.

   We had an amazing stay at Catgill Glamping Pods! From the moment we arrived, everything was clearly signed and beautifully presented, with a modern, welcoming reception. The pods are perfectly placed on a hillside overlooking the stunning Bolton Abbey village – the views are incredible. The pods themselves were spotless, stylish, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was a real highlight – preheated and ready to go, with logs provided. We booked the over-50s deal and were pleasantly surprised with a free bottle of bubbly and a warm breakfast (fresh pain au chocolat and coffee) delivered right to our pod in the morning – such a lovely touch! The location is ideal for walks into Bolton Abbey and there are great cafes nearby. We highly recommend Catgill and will definitely be returning

   One of the best campsites out there!! From the moment we checked in I could tell this was a well run campsite. The amenities were fantastic. Plenty of friendly staff around. Toilets were immaculate five stars! I loved the setting of this campsite. The shop was well stocked, the coffee and croissants in the morning we a lovely touch. Fire pits were awesome. I mean this has to be one of the best campsites out there. Was a lovely little walk down to the town and lost to see and do. Great job to you all at Catgill camp site. We will defiantly be returning.. Can't wait :)

   Just spent two nights as have wanted to see Bolton Abbey for ages and the weather was perfect for me and the wife to go camping. Site was clean and we had the pick of the views to camp on, which was brilliant. Shop on site was good enough for the basics, but there is a co-op 3 miles away. Indian ordered to site first evening and a nice touch for the camp site to put a good selection of available deliveries on the welcome email. Toilets clean and above average. Will be returning

   The campsite itself is really lovely. Facilities were good. It is great to have an enclosed dog area to let the dog off the lead. The staff are wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable too. The reason for only 3 stars is that I did not really like sandy gravelly stuff to pitch on, not entirely level, also, the noise levels were too high. The 10.30 quiet time was largely ignored where I was pitched, so I really only got 1 decent night sleep. It maybe that I usually go to quieter sites. For families and groups this would be a great site, but for lone travellers, sadly not and I did leave a day early. But I must say the staff were really lovely about it. Again facilities, location and staff were great, but not a site for me.
