An amazing place to swim and use gym facilities. All the staff are amazing and so welcoming! Would recommend to anyone!

Three treadmills for the entire gym. No air conditioning or air flow as gym is two stories underground. Apparently talking to other people it’s been like this for months with no information or updates. Damp shower rooms that double as changing rooms so it’s smelly and you breathe in the humidity.

An affordable centre for swimming with good facilities. The only issue is the lack of management of the people that book lane swimming. Half of the people attending can barely swim or swim way too fast in the slow lane, making it difficult for others to maintain a steady pace. Others swim half a length and then stand in the middle of the pool trying to catch their breath, essentially becoming a human obstacle fir everyone to swim around. As well as this, there are others who just sit chatting in the shallow end, creating another awkward obstacle. It would be nice if lifeguards or other staff members could try to manage these issues to make it a nice experience for those trying to swim.

The pool is great, nice and clean and affordable. The life guard that was on shift on the 12/08/25 at the 6 o’clock lane swimming, spent roughly 45 mins talking to a young girl in the pool and messing around, splashing and constantly throwing floats from the tall chair. He wasn’t paying attention to anyone else just entertaining the young gir.

I could not recommend this gym highly enough. I’ve been a member now for nearly a year and initially signed up with some trepidation. As someone who is relatively unfit and plus size joining a new gym can be daunting. I’m very grateful to say I’ve once been pressured into signing up for PT (which has been an uncomfortable occurrence in past gyms) nor once been made to feel uncomfortable or out of place by either the staff or fellow facility users. The gym, changing rooms, pool and showers are spotlessly clean and well maintained and organised. There’s always a friendly face or someone willing to help or answer any questions. I’ve recently started attending some of the classes which I’ve not been brave enough to do in other gyms: water aerobics, Pilates and today my first kettle bells class. Each class allows for a beginner friendly option and the instructors have been so supportive and encouraging. I’ve felt confident and comfortable from the off with every activity I’ve engaged in here. Thanks all, you’re all doing a wonderful job!

I take my kids to the centre for swimming every weekend. The teachers are friendly and helpful, and the classes are not too large for group sessions, and you can ask for private lessons if you need extra help. There are also karate and a host of other activities available at the centre. Indoor football, basketball, and an equipped gym with various classes! The only gripe is that the building is so thick that you have poor mobile reception indoors.

All the facilities you could require. Staff were awesome and helped us out on arrival. Changing rooms for after the game were fantastic. Definitely going to be using all the time now.

Staff are fantastic and friendly, wide range of classes for all abilities with brilliant instructors - something for everyone. Gym equipment is extensive and good chunk of it is brand new. Fantastic value for money.

We visited yesterday with two young children, and we really enjoyed it. All of the facilities were clean and tidy, and quite a good size, the price was good for us too. A pair of goggles were even provided after my daughter had forgotten hers, which was so lovely. There didn't appear to be a lifeguard on duty, although there was a member of staff providing swimming lessons. The security staff who allow entry to the building was for some reason, extremely rude when allowing entry and the staff were aware of this. It's a good alternative to going to a normal leisure centre, however Leeds City council leisure centre might provide a little extra space to move around in.
