   Nice quiet public garden. However very steep in places. And at the riverside a lot of steps to reach the riverside. Best for those folk fit enough to handle the terrain.

   Free to enter botanic style gardens. Hill with steps. Steep at times. From castle at the top, gardens middle and down to the river café and rowing boats.

   A very well kept, clean and tidy park which really is a nice hidden gem. Great mix of trees, plants, bushes and grass and plenty of benches to relax on as well. In the Summer there is a paddling pool for the kids and it has good access to both the Castle and the Riverside.

   A pretty large garden area which is nice to take a stroll through, with a maze of little paths surrounding the delightful plantings and trees. There’ a decent amount of seating throughout and the paddling pool is a quaint touch for the summer months. Well worth taking a wander through if you’re nearby.

   Beautifully well-maintained park with manicured bushes, wonderful flora and a paddling pool for kids and adults alike. Great place to read your book on a bench or patch of grass or simply sit and enjoy the weather!

   Nice gardens albeit very steep which ain’t good in wet weather. Plenty of handrail on the stairs but not on the paths in the gardens. Suppose that could detract from the park but it’d make me feel more safe that I’m not gonna fall over. Paddling pool had no water in it in October hence it empty on my pics. Lovely autumn colours though!

   These are beautiful gardens leading up to Knaresborough castle with lovely views over the river. There are lots of steps and steep paths but it's well worth the effort.
