   This is our favourite place to eat and drink before shows in Liverpool! The drinks menu is huge - we absolutely love trying as many different cocktails as we can. So fun to pick different flavours and exciting seeing what turns up and how they are presented. Having so much unusual and unique drink choices really adds to the experience. The food is also incredible - we have never ever had a bad meal here and the food is always delicious. We are always spoilt for choice on what to order and we enjoy every bite. I feel like the Alchemist is known more for drinks but the food is underestimated and doesn’t get enough credit. Finally, the staff here really make the place; they’re so friendly, helpful and can’t do enough for you. They make you feel like the only customer there. My only tiny gripe is that I find the music to be a bit too loud/intrusive sometimes when trying to hold a conversation and you sometimes have to shout a bit to talk and be heard. Overall, I can't recommend enough! This continues to be our go-to place for food and drink dates.

   Went to The Alchemist in Liverpool with two friends and had a great time. We ordered the theatrical cocktails (TNT, the Bong and another one) and they were class; so much fun to watch them make, loads of smoke and drama, and they actually tasted good too. The whole place has a cool vibe: dark, modern, proper “alchemy” feel with all the lighting and glassware. Staff were really friendly and happy to explain the drinks. Prices are what you’d expect for fun cocktails, but it’s definitely worth it for the experience. Nice spot for something a bit different, we’ll be going back.

   Visited for a celebratory dinner with cocktails. The drinks menu is fantastic and has something to suit everyone. We booked a table as visited on a weekend and it was very busy so would recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. The theatrical aspect of the drinks is amazing and really adds to the atmosphere

   It was my first time visiting the Alchemist, I was blown away the cocktails are absolutely mesmerising and outstanding! Its expensive but totally worth it the atmosphere was great, music was great, the staff are lovely and friendly, also want to give a special mention to Ben he was our server and he was so nice and even made me a few drinks off the hand after mentioning colours types of alcohol i like extra, hes a top bloke i hope someone lets him see this please we promised to leave him a review, hes really good at his job and makes amazing cocktails, I will definitely be returning for sure! Highly recommend even just to experience it.

   I have been here to celebrate my big birthday and this place didn't disapoint. Staff was really nice, food was great and we all loved the decor. Staff kept us table after we called we are being 10 minutes late. They took our photos. Cocktails were amazing. I couldn't wish for more to share a meal with my lovely girlfriends. It is walking distance from Albert docks and Mathew street.

   Came as part of my daughters birthday celebrations. Had a nice meal and some lovely cocktails. My daughter also received a free birthday cocktail. And my younger daughter enjoyed her mocktails. Food came out nice and hot although I was slightly disappointed with my Korean chicken burger as there wasn't enough sauce and mainly tasted of just bun. The rest was yummy especially the dough balls and onion rings. Staff was all very helpful friendly and attentive especially kerry who was lovely. Thank you for a great visit

   We had a cocktail making experience here for a hen party! It was amazing! Eric our bartender was great with us all and we had such a laugh! The cocktails are incredible and are such a reasonable price too! We had a really good time! Highly recommend this place!

   Cocktail lovers dream! All the usual classics to pick from and their own specials that bubble, foam and delight. A nice place to go for something different and try the wide selection. It is expensive but a good experience. Good music on and nicely decorated. Helpful friendly bar staff who can offer tips on the wide range of cocktails.

   Wow what an experience, what an awesome place!! From entry to leaving it was seriously a memorable occasion that we can’t wait to do again! The staff are so very warm and welcoming, the food was delicious & the cocktails were out of this world. Add to all that, the theatre, the ethical background and you feel so much better about having such a fantastic evening. Make sure you have plenty of room, from the starters to desert everything was cooked to perfection and so very tasty. The charcoal battered cod & chips looked strange due to the black exterior but tasted phenomenal. The French Steak Sandwich was gorgeous and I would definitely have that again. Kate, our server was so very lovely, funny, warm and patient we really couldn’t have asked for more from her! Can’t recommend this place enough for a memorable night/evening with friends or loved ones
