   Great place to walk dogs, picnic and relax. Has a park and water splash area for children to enjoy. No dogs allowed in the park area. Water area only open seasonally and specific times. My daughter absolutely loved it here, great for young children.

   Nice park right next to the river. Well looked after. 5-10 minutes walk from the town centre. Cricket club is within it. Toilets available ( charge of 20p ) Plenty of benches. Children's play area. Its not too big, you can walk around it in 20 minutes, but the whole area itself, by the river and the bridges, the ducks, all together make a collaboration of nature's beauty. Dogs allowed but on leads. Large car park found close by, other side of the river. Looks pretty, even in the rain.... !

   Fabulous park set within the peak district with rolling hills and countryside surrounding the recreation grounds,lovely walking circuit along the riverside, cricket ground and pavilion,Bowls, table tennis tennis courts, children's play area,paddling pool, I would highly recommend a visit even if you just love the countryside views.. Let alone keeping your family entertained..its within easy reach of the town amenities..

   Really good park and play area. Not giving a 5th star due to dog poo bins in children's play area that says no dogs. Doesn't make sense when dog poo is so dangerous, potentially deadly, to young children.

   Bakewell is wonderful place to visit, especially on Market Day. We take our grandchildren, have picnics, play ball games on the fields, feeds the ducks and have lots of fun in the playground. It's a must..
