   Went to the country fair today and it was very big and busy. We were unsure if tickets for the house were included because one part of the website implied they were but the tickets stated otherwise. It was this year when we got there though. The house and gardens are very grande and pleasant, especially in the sunshine. Many works of art, the design exhibit was also interesting although small. Personal highlight was the exotic greenhouse which was much like a jungle inside (although reasonably small). If you don't want to pay the very large ground are also nice for a walk, especially along the river.

   Visited for a car show. Everything was extremely well organized and we had a lovely enjoyable day. Lots of beautiful cars, a great arena and lots of stalls including food stalls.

   Its beautiful ....i went for the xmas market and the illuminated garden walk and it didnt disappoint.....it really is so well run....stewards in the car parks and shuttle rides to the house....lots of choice for food and drink....truly a great day out...also dog friendly

   A great place for a good walk. I think the car park is expensive at £5 but at present there are many statues to walk around and look at. Walking is easy for the most part a reasonably flat. There is also a chance to see the deer.

   We went for the Chatsworth Country Fair, having been before to the house and Gardens. Great day out, plenty for children also. We ventured round the House and Gardens again, which was much quieter than usual due to the fair. The water features weren't on, which was a shame, but understandable and a lovely day out.

   Lovely place to walk lots of varied landscapes to enjoy from woods, open green, interesting buildings. You could do am easy walk on well maintained paths or a more challenging walk a bit more off the beaten track. Lots of variety

   The park is very well maintained, and there are a lot of footpaths criss-crossing the estate too that offer good views of the house and surrounding area, and there is a large flat grassy area next to the river that is good for picnics. At every entrance to the estate there is a big notice board with lots of info on too.
