Very tranquil place to walk. The ducks and gulls like to share whatever you’re eating along the way. Some very impressively large trout in the river and you don’t have to look hard to spot them.
A stunning place to able along or while away a few hours in the shade of some trees with the sound of the river flowing by!
A peaceful little garden on the riverbank, just a few steps from the medieval Bakewell Bridge. It's not as showy as the nearby Bath Gardens but it's beautiful nevertheless, with a well-kept lawn and flowering plants, shady trees and benches. The ideal quiet spot to relax or enjoy a picnic before taking a stroll along the riverside path to watch the waterbirds splashing about in the weir near the Love Locks Bridge.
Are the fish naturaly there?
An idyllic garden right next to the river. The short walk follows the river where the water is just begging for a sunset photo. It has a bridge (full of locks for those looking to seal their love), a small weir, a flowery setting and some friendly ducks, swans and even geese. Come with a camera when the sun comes down.
