Went for a pub lunch, had chilli and chicken and mushroom pie and chips with peas. Chilli was OK, immediately sent peas back as looked like they had been in bain marie 1 hr, chips ok, gravy came halfway thru meal, but it was beef, with a chicken pie????. 2pm Saturday, none else eating, waited a while for Meal to arrive as well. Disappointed to say the least

Love our local the ffrith, the landlord is great, friendly and interacts with everyone. Karaoke nights, quiz nights, live music and bingo it’s the best place around. Fantastic food, food served every day 5* quality. We visit this establishment a few times a week always friendly customers and staff.

Myself, my husband and son came here for the first time tonight whilst on holiday. We had drinks and food. We had the gammon, the steak and my little boy had chicken goujions. It was amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection and it was so tender. Amazing prices too. We were made to feel comfortable. We brought games to play at the table so that my son was entertained. The staff were so pleasant and kind. Thankyou for a lovely meal.

Just been here to get some food. We had ordered the hunters chicken, pulled pork loaded fries, cheese garlic bread and onion rings. The service was okay and the food came out very quickly. However the food itself was disgusting. My Hunter chicken came with no bbq sauce so I asked for some and they took it back and put it on which was great. But then the sauce was disgusting tasted like cinnamon. The chicken was watery and the bacon was barely cooked. The garlic bread was soggy and wet and the pulled pork was also covered in the disgusting sauce. We both ate barely any of the food as it was so bad. I didn't expect great things but for the prices they charged I expected more than this.

Pretty appalling. I mean I didn't have huge expectations when we went in and thought it would be cheap and cheerful but this was just rubbish. Got our food order wrong and the pizza was so burnt. No apology when we mentioned it just shrugged off. When we said we ordered the hot dog bit the burger the response was "oh right so you don't want this" well no....it's not what we ordered! Sticky tables, feels s bit grubby.....never again

Very enjoyable food which was cooked nicely alongside friendly staff. We happened to attend a weekend when they were a little busy, however we were one of the lucky ones who managed to get a seat without booking. I woukd recommend booking beforehand just in case to avoid any disappointment. If you are on holiday with a dog you can also take your dog in the pub which was a big advantage for us. Thank you.

Stopped off for some food off the usual A55 direct route..very pleasantly surprised, good menu, not the usual boring bar food menu. Great tasting sizzlers & good prices and plenty to eat. Excellent staff, polite and pleasant and human rather paid to be nice!...obviously very busy here in the hight of season good to see they still valued passing winter trade...

Somewhat disappointing, painfully slow service, was seated to eat facing a wall full of damp, mould and flaking plaster, no toilet paper in the toilet, in fact the toilet roll dispenser had been removed from the wall, the tap on the sink was permanently running, wasting water, couldn't be turned off, I reported this to a member of staff but they didn't seem the least bit interested. Staff kept bumping into our table and chairs during our meal as there was no clear pathway for them taking food to and from the tables outside, had to ask three times for our desserts to be brought over as we had obviously been forgotten about. The food itself was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. The Manager was clearly out of her depth and everything seemed very unorganised on the day we visited which is a great shame as I have a lot of fond memories of this place, it is in a great location and has got potential to be so much better but you really need to get your act together.

Pub itself is a nice location and staff are pleasant but food took far too long to arrive and was not up to a good standard. Shame as had been once before and was a good experience but has since lagged.
