Lovely little cafe. Cosy with soft lights. Home made Quiche, pies and sausages rolls are fab and the salad is a meal in itself (honest). No limp lettuce and green tomatoes here!
The food is superb, it takes time to receive it as it is all cooked from fresh - well worth the short wait. Lou, Gemma and Claire are all lovely and welcoming. Our new "go to" for breakfast or lunch. We haven't tried evenings here - yet.
Food was exceptional rhough was slow to be served but can put this down to the food being super fresh amd made from scratch.... however was still slow. Place looms and feels really nice with food not costing too much. Staff were lively and very friendly
My friend and I attended their jazz night and we had such a wonderful evening. I’ve visited a few times to Barbettas and every time I feel like I am welcomed with open arms they make you feel so at home. All of the staff are just so lovely people, service is great and food and cakes are wonderful. When leaving you feel I’ve just had a warm hug! Love this place
We had our wedding reception here and can't express how much the team did for us to have the best time ever with our guests. The incredible homemade food, drinks and attention to detail was more than we imagined and everyone said it was the best wedding they'd been to. The team were extremely attentive and we feel really lucky to have had such a wonderful time. We've eaten here lots and it had always been faultless with the chefs being passionate about the food. I would highly recommend, best place and a must visit when in hoylake.

Took my friend there for a quick lunch, super friendly staff - asked for some recommendations and we went with a toastie and the Rueben. Both were incredible, the Reuben was so tasty never had one before and was huge! Lovely little venue friendly staff can’t recommend enough
One of the best sausage rolls I've had in a long time, huge and delicious. Great atmosphere and friendly staff highly recommend
Salmon crostini and a slow cooked beef stew plus a glass of Argentinian Malbec . Very nice hearty food , excellent service and music to our liking too !
