   I have been using this store for a while now. Attracted by the fact that this was an independent shop making use of the internet to widen it's customer base and so stay in business. So glad I found them. Their prices are always competitive, often much better than the big chains. Note this time I made a mistake. An item has been on my list for a while but I placed an order with Ormskirk for treats and toys forgetting they were likely to do dog shampoo. It was almost 24 hours before I realised and contacted them saying was it possible to amend the order Their response within the hour "Of course don't worry, it has been done, all sorted for you". Truly amazing. You don't get that with a chain.

   Do NOT buy from here unless you want an emergency vet visit with your beloved dog. Unfit dog food sold on Amazon that's made my precious baby extremely unwell. I write this in the middle of the night after hours of nursing my poor girl from severe diarrhoea and vomiting. I will now have to wait until sunrise to get her to an emergency vets. Selling freeze dried toppers that clearly have something wrong with them. I am OUTRAGED. If anything happens to her, I will pursue all channels to stop you trading.

   I can only assume that Ormskirk Pets is the same business owners as PawPet.co.uk as they share the same address and business type. I ordered 2 Dog Coats & 2 Dog Fleeces on the 6th of October ready for the winter season with an advised expected delivery date within 2-5 working days. It's now nearly a month on, I have had no delivery. I've received one email response after chasing. Stating "they will try and get in touch with courier to see what has happened." Nothing after 1 week, chased again. No response, still waiting. From the order details > The item apparently was not shipped until the 15th October (9 days after the order and a date exceeding the delivery date, I thought, it's heading into Xmas I can understand a small delay). I now check the shipping tracking number daily via the Royal Mail website (from the information shown on my order page) and this is still showing "We're expecting to receive it from the seller" To note there has been No change in 2 weeks! You're less an 2 hours drive door to door - what on earth is happening???? This morning, I've emailed again stating if I don't get the delivery within 7 days I would like a Refund. The order is not far off £200 and I'm still waiting 30 days later!! Update TBC

   I would rate zero if I could and also posted on trust pilot to warn other people about placing their trust in this company. I purchased a dog bed and one week later, no update or shipping notifications. Customer service ignored my email, so I contacted the FB page to get a sentence back ‘ this page isn’t manned’ - I then said please notify your CS team that I have emailed. Ignored again. Finally after me chasing I got a meagre response that the bed was out of stock and they would have to wait until it was back from the supplier. No time frame given or estimate. I asked if they could at the very least refund my shipping costs as a GWG- suprise suprise, ignored again. I posted on Trust Pilot after 3 weeks of me chasing, no bed and getting absolutely nowhere only for them to very quickly get back to me saying they cancelled my order without my permission. This was done purely out of spite. I believe the owner was messaging me and casually said ‘ we get about 2 pound profits for these beds’ - in a blaze attitude which reflects why the owner didn’t care they took my money and wasn’t in a hurry to post it, because my money wasn’t important to them and they didn’t make a profit. She/ he also said she had been let down by this particular supplier many times - well why keep using them then and letting down customers and thus giving yourself a terrible reputation. I wanted to post on here to warn other customers. This company is very quick to take your money but they do not care about fulfilling orders or retaining customers. I will be reporting this company for taking money when they can’t fulfil People’s orders and not notifying them when items are out of stock, at least giving people the chance or option to order elsewhere. I can see this has happened to many other people as well. Extremely bad practice, unprofessional, dishonest and rude.

   Ordered on 7th confirmation of order received. I had to chase on 15th as absolutely no communication from seller nor ever despatched. Order now cancelled, wont use again

   There was a delay on one of the items I ordered but I messaged them on Facebook and received a prompt reply. The item in question actually arrived whilst we were discussing how to get the items out to me and they very kindly sent it 24hr tracked royal mail postage to ensure my dog got its food on time! Couldn't ask for better customer service.

   I have made numerous orders from Ormskirk Pets and have been hugely satisfied with their service. Yesterday I had my first experience of their customer service and Mike was outstanding. Despite me messaging outside of normal working hours, he responded promptly and resolved my query in less than an hour, and my order was sent out on next day delivery, which I have received. I couldn’t recommend them more!

   Bought two of these bird feeders with the first one breaking at the handle within one day of being put up and the other pecked through within the first week. First feeder credited but nothing on the second and no return of postage. These feeders just aren't fit for purpose and to be fair, the price should have told me that!
