The staff are lovely very friendly, polite and very helpful. My little girl Misty-Blu looks forward to going as she always gets fussed and throughly checked over each time she goes. I can't recommend this family run 5βββββ vet's enough to anyone who are looking for their pets to be looked after. A big thank you to everyone at Woolton vets.

I took Hershey for his annual vaccinations with Dr Alex. It was his first adult appointment. Dr Alex asked how the first year had been - Hershey is a mini daschund - so itβs been noisy - very noisy! Dr Alex took the time to explain why dogs bark and react in a way that was understandable. He also made conversation throughout the consultation, so Hershey and I both felt at ease. He explained all the vaccinations he was administering and how often Hershey would need them. The ladies on reception are also lovely / really friendly. I have both of my dogs at this clinic, and I feel safe in the knowledge that they are being looked after by vets and nurses who do the job because they genuinely love animals. Great clinic - not a chain - would wholeheartedly recommend.

Thank you to Alex, Sarah, Bryan, Oscar and The Team for looking after our beloved Alfie so well these past years. He always received the very best care at WVC. It was very hard to have to say goodbye to him last month but Oscar and Jude were really sympathetic and kind, and Alfie passed very peacefully with my husband and me at his side. That provided so much solace, and it is lovely to have a lock of his fur and an impression of his paw with a space for his photo. Our other three other dogs are registered at WVC and we wouldn't entrust our pets to anyone else. This practice is simply the best, providing the highest standard of care! They truly care. I can't recommend them enough!

Such a lovely, family-run independent veterinary practice, thereβs a real sense of continuity and care here. Unlike the larger chain vets where we rarely saw the same person twice, this team offers consistency and genuine connection. The staff are always welcoming, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. Weβve had great experiences with several of the vets, but Alex McCormack stands out as an absolute gem. Our Rottweiler Reggie adores her, and itβs easy to see why - she just gets him. Her calm, intuitive approach puts him at ease every time, and we always request her when we can. We feel incredibly lucky to have found this practice.

Best vets weβve ever had. When our cat had to be put down they couldnβt have been more compassionate and they calm our nervous dog down as much as they can while heβs there. Really efficient, friendly service.

Amazing vets. Our family have used them for years and we have no bad words to use. They are caring, friendly and go above and beyond all the time. One of our dogs had surgery and after complications, it was touch and go for the evening. The vet stayed with her all night and even shared his burger with her when she woke up. Could not recommend them any more. An easy 5 stars.

Always incredibly helpful, both at the reception and the nurses/doctors. They look after your little furry babies like they were theirs, making the visit to the V.E.T. a lot less traumatic. Highly recommended!

We took our dog here for an emergency appointment as heβd collapsed in the morning. The staff and vet couldnβt do enough to help us. Sadly our pet was terminal & we made the painful decision to allow him to sleep. The next day to our surprise we received flowers & a card of condolence. The gesture was although unexpected was very thoughtful and appreciated. Thank you for treating our pet with the respect and dignity he deserved.
