Went there on the 29th of November for my sister's evening do for her wedding that was back in August. The outside of the building is stunning and to be honest if the weather had been better I would have stayed outside quite happily and stared at it all night! Anyway, the party inside was well organised with plenty of food available courtesy of a buffet. There was also a free bar and a freeing of inhibitions when it came to taking to the dance floor!

Clean and tidy, staff not to good on tills. Each round different price each time. First 2 pints larger was just under £14 and that was happy hour price.

We held our evening reception party here 21st June 2025. The food was lovely, bar staff were very nice and everyone commented on how much of a great time they'd had. We had the room downstairs and can recommend it to anyone who wants an area where people can sit and chat away from the DJ. It's a nice room with big windows and a separate area for the serving of the buffet. 10/10 We also stayed over night and although the rooms are slightly old fashioned they were clean and would of looked out of place if they were too modern.

We held our wedding here and it was fantastic. Sue was amazing prior to the event and the waitress (Beth) was amazing on the day. They were so accommodating and made sure we had the perfect day. I couldn't recommend them more!

Food disappointing. Tiny amount of soup. Main was Chicken Chasseur and rice. Hardly any sauce and small bit of chicken leg.. However chocolate Brownie was lovely.

I had my wedding here and honestly, the Racquet club staff could not have been better. My wedding itself went so smooth, and the buffet got SO MANY compliments. Even my fussy mother in law loved the Scouse. They had an event the night before my wedding, and cleared a room for us to get ready in at 11am. We had the family room at night, the bed was so comfy and warm. I would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

We got married here in September, the hotel it’s self is absolutely beautiful and the location is central. We stayed 2 nights. From start to finish our day was perfect, the food was also fantastic. The most important thing to say though is the staff, they couldn’t be more helpful and kind. They were professional but also had a little dance with us at the night time bit which was lovely. All of them are a credit to the hotel, especially sue who helped plan and facilitate our fabulous day. I can’t recommend this hotel enough for a night away or for a wedding. Amazing!!
