Fabulous food, great atmosphere, and the staff are extremely helpful. We arrived early for our booking, and sat at the bar with drinks, a nice booth like table for 2. Our drinks and food order were taken and arrived quickly, we both chose from the market menu, which a very reasonable prices even with a supplement for the steak. The food was excellent and well presented, staff could not do more to make our visit enjoyable. This was my second visit and will definitely be back, hopefully soon.

I just wanted soup for dinner and they had an amazing tomato, lentil, and thyme soup of the day that was perfect. My husband opted for the two course meal selection and had a wonderful terrine starter and a seriously delicious venison stew. Service was good and the place is very nice inside. That stew makes me want to go back!

We had dinner here and it was excellent. All the food was very tasty and the portions were right. The prices were alright and it was great to see they don't include automatic service charges like many other greedy places around, so of course left a well deserved tip. It can get quite full, so make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend having dinner here if you want some great Scottish food.

Fantastic restaurant! Had the best oysters, haggis and seafood stew, all made with Scottish high quality produce. The desserts were also incredible. All staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. I would definitely recommend it and can't wait to return!

Very good experience overall. We had the Sunday Market menu, which is a decent deal for the price and there's a good selection too. The food is superb. Starters were a bit small but very well presented and tasty. Mains and desserts were good portions. Staff were all very friendly and smiling all the time. On a Sunday evening, it was relatively quiet. Place is spacious and has a nice atmosphere. Overall, top food at fair price in the city centre.

I had the seafood stew and tiramisu from the market menu. I paid 19.95 for the two courses. The food was delicious and flavorsome, I could not fault it. However, the service was too slow and I waited nearly 30 minutes for my dessert.

Wow! This restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way! It has a beautifully styled interior providing a relaxed and unpretentious dining experience. The food was fantastic, equalled by the service, particularly from the gentleman who was front of house. Would absolutely recommend & can't wait to return when we're back in Glasgow, especially as we were too full to try the desserts! Book in advance to avoid disappointment!

Stopped in for dinner hoping for a seat. Lucky got a high top, which we prefer anyway. Had some delicious soup, and delicious venison dishes. Venison stew and venison pave.

Very pleasant place to visit for delicious food, serving some tasteful local recipes. The meal was excellent, the drinks very pleasant too and the staff lovely. The selection of whiskeys was very well appreciated! Bathrooms were a bit hard to find. There seems to only be a disabled one, which was of course completely fine.

We came to this place for lunch and left extremely satisfied. The interior is tastefully decorated, felt very cozy and warm. We ordered the 3-course market menu and it was a lot for both of us. We had to take some of the food home. Everything was delicious and just the perfect amount of flavor. The market menu offers a great variety of dishes to try: We started with the soup and the goat cheese, then had our main plates: the chicken and the venison stew. Both were great and very filling, and it was so much food we had to take some home. Lastly, we got this amazing toffee bread pudding with a side of ice cream. It was to die for, so good and tasty. Would definitely recommend coming here for lunch. The beer selection is good and the whiskey choices were also plentiful.
