Zahid the owner of shahid is a southside legend, amazing food and service and a good man who helps his local community and abroad , his wife and kids are amazing people too as is his family and brother shahid who lives abroad now, no one makes food better than them both
Shaheds has remained consistently high quality food, great portion size and timely. The health box is highly recommended. Around 80grams of pure protein from my judgement. Worth the price - the portion size alone, nevermind the amazing taste! 10/10 truly
The pizza was good overall better than most out there but wasnt that spicy and yes i felt they forgot to add salt in dough.
Worst pizza I’ve ever tried in my life, Ordered 16 inches meat feast and 12 inches margarita, paid £25 Pizzas were over cooked rock solid not edible at all. Would not order again from here!
The quality and consistency of food here is amazing! Everything from the burgers, pizza, wraps etc is top class with spices and flavours that will satisfy all taste buds. Personal fave is the spicy chicken tikka pizza with the desi add! Truly a great night in when you've got a shaheds in!
1 star because some of the staff don’t have a clue. Ordered the same meal once every week for the past 3 weeks, half chicken & and rice. £8.50 & it comes with a tub of sauce. £8.50 is borderline pushing it but theres no complaint in that regard. Ordered last night & asked for an extra sauce tub(small) & the guy slapped on an extra £1, looks like he charged me for the complimentary & the additional. Have only been bumped £1, however its the principle, that the staff should have a clue whats going on, instead of being dummys that answer the phone. You know who I am, you have my contact number. Hopefully the situation is rectified, if not please guys, double check your receipts or else they’ll have a Lamborghini parked out front from the bumps.
Service is so slow. Food is tasty enough, hence 2 stars, but you order and often stand there for 15 mins while people come in, collect chips and cheese and leave. You need to ask them 2 or 3 times if your order is nearly ready and it's clear they've forgotten about it each time. Eventually it's put on the grill and cooked but by then you've waited ages. Once food is given to you the paper wrapping sticks to the kebab and cant be separated because it's so soggy. Had to leave half of the kebab because it was stuck to paper. Shame as food is tasty, like I said. That's paper completely stuck to it in the picture. Downgraded to 1 star as can't eat pitta because it's stuck to paper
