Brilliant place to stop for something to eat. Staff are brilliant and friendly. Menu had all the usual dishes and some a bit more unique. The food has always been great. Well with a visit

We had a nice meal here, the menu is fairly short... Pubgrub... **There is a list at the back of the menus which has the allergen breakdown for all of the meals served which is easy to decipher if anyone of the group had to consider this. Good prices and pleasant staff. The place had families in for their meal and the young children are accommodated too. Quite forward thinking, they even have a unisex bathroom alongside the male and female standards. Quite nicely situated considering it is in the heart of the city... back away from the road alongside a wee stretch of the canal which is more like a stream at this part. I would go back for all of the reasons of fair cost handiness and friendlyness.

Nice place near the canal popular with dog walkers and cyclists. Small car park but additional on street parking not that far away. The manager was friendly and managed to accommodate us although the place was very busy. Children's menu had plenty of options and was excellent value for money. Was very underwhelmed by spicy veggie burger, as it wasn't spicy and, in my opinion, was overpriced. Chicken wings were good, as was the range of beers on draught. Outside seating for when the weather gets better.

Our go to place on a friday evening, they have modified the seating area with big glass windows overlooking the canal. The temple walk itself is perfect for joggers, casual strollers, dog walkers, leisurely strollers, fishing enthusiasts ( with licenses) etc. The food is decent and not too expensive. There is also a pub within to enjoy a couple of drinks with buddies or family. The restaurant allows dogs inside and also have decent toilet facilities. There is dog water bowl at most of the outdoor seating area. Small events can be hosted here . We also enjoyed live music at some days as well. However, parking is restricted (5 cars max) and sometimes card are parked at the adjacent lanes.

This place is great as a pub - not so much as a restaurant. The outside area is pretty much guaranteed to be full on a sunny day as it's a really nice relaxed place by the canal. The variety of drinks is good and the prices are fair. The food however is sub-standard even for a pub. The pizzas had no taste whatsoever and it took almost an hour to serve them. We've also seen others being served burgers and they looked more like something you'd buy in Iceland and "cook" in a microwave. It'll fill your stomach, but don't expect it to be good. So overall I'd definitely recommend the place as a pub - just eat somewhere else.

Nice place to stop off if wandering along the canal for some refreshment, with decent food at reasonable prices (updated menu with more selections). Friendly staff and place looks great and more lively atmosphere than years before. Dogs also welcome.

Located at the north end of Crow Rd on the Forth & Clyde Canal Lock 27 (Anniesland / Temple area of Glasgow) Pub restaurant with indoor and lots of outdoor seating. Very popular venue in the βbetter weatherβ and as a pleasant indoor rest for those having a walk along the canal in βany weatherβ. Staff were friendly and attentive. Decor pleasant and the pub/restaurant was clean. The food is similar to other pub chains and was ok but not exceptional. Dog friendly. No complaints and Iβll be popping in again.

Order - 2 steak pies and a pint of tennents. It was lovely Time - 30 mins in the place. They came out with the bill very sharp. Presentation - see pics. Place was pretty much all reserved. Managed to get a table up the back corner. There's plenty of seats outside but it was cold. I guess u need to book up in advance. Quality - 4/5 - my acquaintance said "its passable" in other words it was great. Good amount of fillings and the gravy was delicious. The waiter said they make them all the time so that's why they were great. Quantity - 2/5 - It was a wee pie and hardly any mash. The plates made it look big. We cleared our plates. I'm trying to cut back so that's a good thing lol Value for money - Β£25.00 for 2 of us and 4 quid a pint of tennents so judge for yourself. Additionally - There's lots of seats outside and it was busy inside with lots of tables reserved. Shout out to the waiters for their friendly quick service.

Stopped here a few times when out cycling for a pit stop. Lovely location next to the canal with canal side seating. Warm friendly atmosphere, friendly staff, good service and good food. Could sit here all day!! A favourite when out on the bike!
