Unfortunately mediocre food, but good service. You get your fill but nothing more. This restaurant is actually the hotel restaurant of the Premier next door. This one offers a meal deal with dinner and breakfast better to do without the "deal" and dine elsewhere. However, the breakfast at the beef eatery is absolutely okay.

We had a lovely meal here and were well looked after by Georgia and Christy. It’s not just steaks… lots of veggie options too. Happy to recommend this place, wherever you are off to next!

Unfortunately went for 3pm dinner during the week and whilst the price remained far higher than a Wetherspoons menu, the food was on a par or even below. Very disappointing. A shared nachos plate was pretty disgusting with cheap cheese watery sauce and pretty insulting in size. Its the only restaurant where you asked to pay a supplement on something as basic as haddock! I definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Overall, not great. Food was mostly very good but it's the service and wait for food that really marks it down. Had a table booked on a Wednesday evening at 6pm. We waited 5/10 minutes at the door before we were shown to our table. Not a great start. It took a further 10 minutes before our order was taken. The kids in our party had starters, Nachos and Garlic flatbread (not the most complex of starters) but it took at least 15 minutes for these. I would like to point out that it did not seem that busy, half full restaurant (not the bar area), but they seemed to be understaffed. Our mains took another 30 minutes and dessert was a further wait. We eventually left the restaurant at 8.30pm. The food itself was overall good. I had a surf and turf burger, tasty and the king prawns were excellent. The chips were great (preferred the thick cut to the skinny fries). The others also enjoyed their meals however the kids macaroni cheese was dreadful. It had vegetables in the mix which isn't usual for a mac and cheese but it was the fact that it was not fresh and admitted by the staff that it cannot be made separately as it was pre packaged. However, they were very kind and replaced this with another kids meal. All other meals were good though. The desserts were fine but again the wait was far too long. We did order a kids juice and a second coffee but they didn't arrive. Although food was mostly tasty, i think 3 stars is fair for the wait for the food.
