It was my first time at eighty eight and really liked it! The food is very interesting and fresh. We were a group of 4 and we tried a lot of dishes, all were great! The tagliatelle with wild mushroom maybe doesn't work so well as others for a sharing plates, but was nevertheless delicious. Great staff and vibe too! Will definitely be back!

Very tasty food and friendly staff. The lightly cured mackerel had a great texture and the dish had a nice balance of flavors, if lacking a bit of brightness. Meatballs on labneh were phenomenal. Pork was cooked nicely but the dish as a whole felt a bit tame and less playful than the rest. Chocolate crémeux with hazelnuts and strawberries was class. Would definitely recommend

We loved the ambiance here, and the 5 course meal at £25 is excellent value - however, there was an issue in how dishes were portioned. We were a party of 3, with two vegetarians and a meat eater. For some of the courses, the vegetarian dish was the same size as the meat dish, but two people had to share it. Overall the food was good, the highlight was definitely the first course of bread with goats cheese and courgettes. The salads were also good, but the pear one was overly rich and almost desert like. The pasta was good - although it felt like a few dishes relied too heavily on creamy, white sauces. It was a solid meal, but I definitely wouldn’t be rushing back which is a shame!

Absolutely stunning selection of European cuisine with fresh pasta dishes. Service was really polite and kind. I recommend everyone give the goat's cheese custard starter a try. The coley was superb, and the cavatelli pasta had the perfect mouthfeel. All dishes were wonderful. We were recommended 2-3 plates per person, ended up spending roughly 30GBP per person with two large bottles of sparkling water and 8 dishes total. Definitely filling, and definitely worth sharing every plate around! The atmosphere was nearly perfect, but the music choice was surprisingly laid-back compared to how upmarket the meal presentation is.

Amazing Monday tasting menu, 8 courses to share for 25£ pp. The goats cheese custard with basil and focaccia was incredible. Good portions and alternative options if needed. The Chocolate cremeux with smoked almonds was fabulous. Nice staff and comfortable seating. Just the lights are a bit too harsh in the back.

Almost a five! The formula is spot on - buzzing vibe, interesting menu, dare to try something different, great staff (even if they are the victim of their own success). 'Small plates in a small restaurant' - yes, a bit on the cramped side. Food was interesting and generally excellent. Not quite sure about all the wine pairings. Reasonable value. Bottom line, absolutely would recommend and look forward to returning.

This is one of those restaurants that you might miss when you pass by as its sign is too small. The gap between the tables would have been better if it was a bit bigger. I went for dinner on a Friday night and the restaurant was full of people, obviously it was a popular restaurant, but a bit noisy.

Delicious / creative / Technical dishes in a great price. This restaurant deserves a Michelin star and I'm sure they'll get one if they continue like this, although the pressure a star creates could spoil the excellent taste of the dishes which is the most important thing. I would definitely recommend the tasting menu. A couple of dishes could be improved by creating a better balance, but overall all dishes I will remember the experience and would pay double the price for this menu. We paid £25 pp. Have eaten worse food when I paid 100-150pp. The hanger steak was sensational, the technique was amazing, it just melted in your mouth. Haven't achieved to cook it like that and haven't eaten a better one in any restaurant including high priced steakhouses or Michelin star restaurants. I will be in contact for the recipe :) PS: Not the best photographs as I was so mesmerised and forgot to take more. PS2: Please consider putting the hanger steak in the menu exactly as it was served on 14-Feb-22

Amazing place to dine out - must try. We always walk past and see them hanging out the fresh pasta and think it looks great, we finally went whilst walking past and it was one of the most delicious, best presented and creative dinners I’ve ever had. The chefs were extremely accommodating of our dietary requirements (two vegans) and even said that if we called in advanced next time they could prepare a vegan desert. The waitress who served us was also very helpful and friendly.
