Disappointing Experience, But Shoutout to Ola I rarely write reviews, but I feel like I need to share my experience here. We visited Tony Macaroni Omni centre recently, and unfortunately, it was a really disappointing experience. First, the food came extremely late, and to make matters worse, our second round of drinks never arrived at all. After waiting for quite some time, we ended up having to cancel the drink order. Throughout the whole thing, Ola was the one bright spot in our visit. She was incredibly attentive, constantly checking on us, and doing her best to keep us happy. She even asked the bartender (who I assume was the manager based on his outfit) for our drinks, but it was clear he didn’t take her requests seriously. Speaking of which, the man at the bar was not only slow to respond, but he also treated Ola very poorly in front of customers. It was uncomfortable to watch, especially since she was doing everything she could to help us. His dismissive attitude toward her was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. I really want to give a shoutout to Ola for her amazing service—she was the only reason our experience wasn’t even worse. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was less than stellar, and I can’t say I’d recommend this place unless they address some of these issues

We visited Tony Macaroni at the omni centre on Saturday the 13th of December for a family meal, as we had relatives visiting from England and wanted to take them out for a nice evening. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the restaurant was severely understaffed and struggling to cope with the number of customers. While we understand that busy periods can be challenging, this had a noticeable impact on the quality of service and food. Our meals arrived lukewarm at best. I personally watched our food sitting out for a considerable amount of time before it was finally brought to the table, which explained why it was freezing by the time we received it. This was frustrating, especially as we were dining with guests and had expected a better standard. We also ordered ice cream for our son, which again sat for a long time before being served. It was only after we pointed out that it had been sitting there that it was eventually brought over. By that point, the overall experience had already been affected. Having visited the Livingston branch previously, the difference was quite stark. The service, organisation, and overall experience there has always been far superior. Sadly, this visit fell well below expectations and was pretty awful all round. It was disappointing to have such an experience, particularly when entertaining family from out of town, and I hope this feedback is taken on board to improve staffing levels and service in the future.

Food was very nice thigh we were confused after ordering macaroni cheese - it came as a burger and chips with the macaroni as a topper. Thought it was just a bowl of macaroni. We checked the menu, there was no mention of a burger and chips. Very confused. Was nice however.

The food was absolutely delicious - definitely a 10/10. It arrived right on time and had great presentation. The servers, Olivia and Mari(not sure how it's spelt) as shown in the picture above were incredibly kind and friendly. The whole service was very impressive.

The food was really good, the host at the entrance was very gentle and acomodating. The menu is very varied and the value for money is pretty good. I'd definitely go back. The only reason why I give a 4 star review is due to the waiter's attitude. I understand it was a super busy night, it was a Saturday evening, after a rugby game, we waited to be taken care of for more than 20 mins, we were served after 2 tables which arrived more than 20 mins after us. And when that was pointed out to the host, he was kind to explain the reason why - I had ordered a mixed grill that takes longer than pizza - but the waiter became rather rude, when we got the bill, the information there was barely visible, we requested to get one that we could read and the reaction was even worse.

Sadly not the same quantity as it used to be, since new management took over. I have been a regular customer to tony macaroni for years, the food and service was always a excellent dining experience. Out of loyalty I have been back three times, hopefully thinking things would improve once the new staff settled in, but on each of these occasions the food and service was a let down. My pasta dish was soggy, it tasted like it had been lying about for a day or two. It was all congealed together, still feel queasy at the thought of it. The staff needs more training it’s not a good business practice to keep customer waiting to be serve, or to leave them waiting about to pay their bill or to bring their aperitif after the Meal. They seem more interested in playing on their phones than looking after diners. And what’s happened to the pizza base? It tastes like cardboard now. Why did they have to change the recipe for the Pizza base when the original one was perfect? The place was very quiet when we were in, only four diners, that speaks for itself, especially at this busy time of year. Tony Macaroni was always a very popular place to eat in the past and it saddens me to see what it’s become. If it doesn’t improve it’s going to close down. Please don’t let this happen.

We had a lovely meal here today. The pasta dishes that came to the table were very tasty. The cocktails tasted really nice too. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented. One small niggle was the gents, it was a bit smelly, not nice in a restaurant and the cubicle door sticks.

On 8th January 2022, my wife and I visited this restaurant for our lunch. We visited this OMNI site at first. This restaurant’s staff were very kind. There is a lots of kind meals n the menu. We selected one starter and one main dish. Taste was very good. Looking forward to having other meals soon. Thank you.
