My favourite place for brunch in Edinburgh! Staff are all friendly and attentive. The baked eggs are insanely good. Book in advance though as the restaurant is small and fills quickly.

The food was really good and the place itself is cute with a nice atmosphere. I liked the overall vibe and don’t mind a lively team, but the staff were a bit too loud, laughing and chatting among themselves. It made it hard to relax and enjoy the meal fully. Still, the quality of the food and the cozy setting make it worth a visit.

5 star breakfast every time we have come. Become one of our "go to's" when in Edinburgh...definitely worth booking. Great smoothies and the bacon and lorne sausage bap is a must to fuel a day.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast! Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. The hummus on toast was honestly one of the best dishes I’ve ever had, so fresh and full of flavour. The eggs benedict with mushrooms, spinach, and added halloumi was incredible, perfectly balanced and packed with a special, unique taste. And the French toast with banoffee was on another level, I loved the mix of yoghurt, caramel, and nuts, it was just divine. Definitely coming back again and would highly recommend this place to everyone!

A place we missed out on during our last rip to Edinburgh but thankfully Jasmin managed to squeeze us in - Defiantly recommend booking here and you can see why! The service was excellent and the food a delight! We actually managed to get here for Brunch two days running - Excellent all round and we will be back - Thank you!

We came here for a light meal. The staff were nice. This spot was booked earlier in the day for breakfast so when we came back the girl recognised us and was happy we could make it back. I liked the vibe of this place. Theyβ€˜re trendy enough without the try-hard vibe. They have delicious looking sides you can see at the counter up front, which I would have gotten had I been hungrier. The look of the food is in the rustic/ hearty side. My friend ordered the mushroom soup which came with delicious looking bread and croutons, and a spiced latte. I just ordered a side of sourdough bread with chili jam and a super mango smoothie. My food was okay, I think my friends meal was much better. All up I’m giving it 4/5.

Very good food, we had both sweet and savoury and it was very very good. The tea was a bit average tho. The only weird thing was the staff.. the cashier girl welcomed us with a super fake smile, then they sat us down and they would come literally every 2 seconds to ask if everything was ok while staring weirdly... But overall very happy for the food. Remember to book in advance!!

Lovely spot for breakfast. We did not have a reservation but they were able to seat us within 10 minutes on a busy Saturday morning. Lovely decorated tea rooms, very cozy and unpretentious. The menu is varied and they cater well to gluten free.

I had in mind Urban Angel for quite a bit but it was always fully booked (weekends). Lucky us, they managed to get a table without a reservation for us. As any old building in Edinburgh, you go downstairs and find lots and lots of tables for hungry customers surrounded by solid underground walls. It gives you an informal, cosy and welcoming mood, but this time I felt it was a bit abandoned with many refurbishment to be done and areas to be properly cleaned. It did not matter too much to me though but sure it is not for everyone. The menu has all the classic breakfast and brunch courses, juices and hot drinks, but the prices are far high for what you are actually getting. Bread, avocados, chickpeas, eggs, fruit... these are all basic cheap ingredients we all have at home, and a toast with all of them on top should not cost 13 pounds. A breakfast for two should not cost over 30 pounds. Service was great, friendly and cheerful staff. You guys are sweet!

Great food. The brioche french toast was one of the best we ever had, thanks to the soft and fluffy texture of the brioche toast, with the good accompaniment choices of butterscotch sauce and yogurt. The baked eggs were really good as well - just the portion was not big enough for a hungry man. The coffee were fine, not the best in town though. Booking is essential here.
