   A 3.2 average rating is ludicrous! I first went here because someone that knows their food told me that the prawn toast here is the best they've ever had. I was sceptical, however they were not wrong. It went beyond my expectations. I've had a few things since then and they've always been great. The satay sauce is magical. On the spicier side, so if you appreciate that, I recommend. Also their duck is lovely. Sometimes it's dry and served in small portions. Not here. I've always had good service; it's quick, good quality, and they'll come to you if you're in the pub across the road. Please ignore their poor rating!

   chips were brick hard, the curry sauce looked like watery gravy I also ordered Brest of chicken and could tell just by looking at it it wasn’t! I wasn’t brave enough to even try it.I dipped a chip in the curry sauce and safe to say I didn’t even bother to finish dishing it out straight in the bin. Don’t waste your money!!!!

   Had salt and chilli chicken in batter with chips and curry sauce and it was discusting I ended up throwing up. I will never order a takeaway from golden Phoenix again they should have paid me to try and eat it worse take away in Glasgow.

   Really had a hankering for a Thai Red Curry tonight and placed and order through Just-Eat. The food arrived 55mins later, and was certainly not like any other Thai Red Curry I've ever eaten. It was more like your average Chinese food with a spicy, gluggy sauce. None of that beautiful rich, fragrant red curry sauce you'd normally find in a Thai curry. It went in the bin because it was so unsatisfactory. I wrote a review on Just-Eat and complained via chat for a refund - chat lady told me to call the restaurant which I did, and as soon as I mentioned the word 'refund' the man on the other end got VERY defensive, started talking angrily, said he'd seen my review come through and called it 'silly', asked me what my problem with it was, said 'and it's a vegetarian curry, so what's it meant to taste like anyway?' and then when I asked him to repeat something he hung up on me!! So rude. I've never experienced customer service as shocking as this. Please AVOID. Doesn't even deserve 1 star after that.

   Curry sauce was rubbish, chicken balls tasted like they'd been cooked and recooked to death. My boyfriend and I ordered from here via just eat last night and within a few hours I was throwing my dry, over cooked chicken balls right back up, bf barely picked at his unappetising chicken wings and also felt very nauseous. No wonder it was delivered so quickly, who would give them any repeat business? Avoid at all costs.
